Chapter 16 you can always fall back on me

Jack's POV

We were finally at the new venue not to mention the last date. God was i tired and happy that it was all over. I was still a bit shaky about the whole lisa thing knowing she could be running around after me but matt told me not to worry. I got into the venue and saw the crew fixing the guitars and such. "Hey jack do you have any new strings?" one of our crew men said. "Ah nah man i don't. But hey my house is like fifteen minuetes away i could go get them real quick." i said go him. "Yeah man alright just don't take long." he said walking to alex's guitar to tune it. I walked up to zack. "Hey im going to get strings from my house real quick i'll be back kay?" i said. He looked at me worried. "Are you sure? let me go with you instead." he said starting to put his bass down. "No zack really it's cool. I need aome time alone anyways i'll be fine. If anything i'll call you guys." He looked uncertain but then sighed.b"Promise to call?" he said. "Promise." i replied. I walked to the stage stairs and climbed off walking to the entrance. "Hey cass can i use your truck?" i asked cassadee. "Um yeah sure. here." she said loking through her purse. "Wait." she said stopping. "Do you want me to go with you just in case?" she said. I sighed. "I'll be fine cass. thanks anyways." she sighed and gave me the car keys. "Be careful. Call if anything!" she said as i started walking away. I got in the truck and headed to my house. When i got there i parked three houses away just incase in a for sale houses drive way. I checked my phone i had two messages. One from matt asking to see if i was ok and another from- my heart dropped and i felt dizzy. Another one from lisa. It was a picture. I locked the car doors and looked around. Nothing. I clicked on the photo and waited for it to load. Then it did. It was a picture of her and alex cuddling. Tears started to form in my eyes. How could she keep torturing me. I get it alex only loves her i get it she has alex and i don't but. Why me.

My phone ranged again and it was lisa.

Lisa: Guess who is back with alex?

I got out of the car and ran into my house. I couldn't take it no more. I though alex was diffrent. But who am i kidding. He isn't a faggot like me. He never will. He never liked me and im just a loner who will never fall in love because nobody wants a fag who likes boys. This whole friendship has been a lie. It was all just to make me feel better. As if i was appreciated to be on this earth but no. I just can't anymore. I don't belong and it has been made clear. Anger filled all throughout my veins. I grabbed things and started smashing them. What did it matter for now? I grabbed a picture of me and alex and smashed the frame as hard as i could on the ground. I Grabbed the picture and ripped it in two. I fell on the ground just balling my eyes out. My vison was now worsened by the tears in my eyes. I saw a pice of broken glass glistening from the corner of my eye. I turnt and grabbed it. I lifted my shirt up and a huge bang cane from the front door. This was it. Lisa was getting me for good this time. I got a better grip of the glass and put it on my skin. Then i heard my name. "JACK! STOP. IT'S ALEX STOP." i turnt and anger filled my eyes. Everything built up. He ran towards me and i got up not wanting him near me. "Get away! Get out of my house! GET OUT!" i said crying. "Jack no wait what's w- he started but i ended "I DON'T WANT TO EVER SEE YOU AGAIN GET OUT! JUST GET OUT!" i said screaming now throwing things at him. I saw tears running down his face. "Oh look how pathetic. After you get back with the slut you come crying to me. What for alex? to break me down again?" i said crying choking on my words. His face was emotionless. "W-what?" he said confused. "Just get out of my face alex i get it you think im a faggot who likes boys." i said walking backwards grabbing my stomach from the minor cut i made. "Jack im not with lisa wh-what the hell. Jack no what." he said. "Shhh." i said putting a finger on my lips. "It's over alex. Im done. I can't keep going." i said picking up a broken glass putting it to my neck. "No jack stop!!" alex said running towards me. "GET AWAY" i screamed fighting against his arm. "Jack stop please i love you." he said. "LET GO OF ME YOU JERK. GO SAY THAT TO SOMEONE ELSE JUST LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO. YOU NEVER MENT IT ALEX ADMIT IT." i said crying. I got out of his grip and fell on the ground curling into a ball. I felt him sit next to me. "Jack i mean it." he said starting to cry. "Jack i love you." I just continued crying."But if you can't understand that then i guess i can't understand what love means either." he said. I felt him get up and walk away. I could hear the glass break as his feet came in contact with the floor. Then it stopped. I looked up and saw him holding the two pictures he looked at me and i saw his lip tremble. He took a piece and began to walk away opening the door and walking into the car away from the driveway. I cleared the tears away and stood up. I walked to the picture and saw only his half. Mine was gone. I kicked the photo of him and walked up the stairs heading towards my room.

Alex's POV

I grabbed jack's piece of the photo and walked out. How? I couldn't believe it. He thinks im back with lisa? i got in the car and drove out from the driveway. I couldn't think straight. I was about to turn the corner from the street and i saw a fimiliar car coming my way. It was lisa. I got my phone out and i had a message. I ignored it and called matt. Three rings was all it took and he answered.

"Matt! send the cops to jack's house lisa is heading his way. hurry!" i said ending the call turning on the street to not make it obvious hitting the gas to get through the other side of jack's street. I grabbed my phone and saw the message it was from lisa. I clicked it while keeping my eyes on the road. It was a picture of me and her from a long time ago. Underneath it said "Guess who is back with alex? me."

No wonder i thought. She ruined jack. Anger rushed through my body. This is the end of her.
