Chapter 1: 6 Months In this Place
*Park Jimin's POV*
I sat uncomfortably on the seat in the doctor's cabin.
He wasn't talking to me, but speaking to someone on the phone.
"Yes yes, Ms.Park. I guarantee it." He spoke softly, my eyes widened as I heard him address my mother.
I'm 23 and living on my own. Why is he talking to my mother?
He finished the call with my mother and turned to me. His mouth opened and closed, he couldn't find words to start this conversation.
His debate for words ended with a smile as he looked at me with a genuinely happy expression.
Was this good news?
"Well Mr.Park, you've made a huge recovery, I believe you're healthy after the 8-month treatment and diet changes."
"You mean the 8 months when you gave me a stuck up bodyguard that shoved food down my throat?" I scoffed, "Yeah. Recovery."
Doctor Lao's eyes averted, he adjusted his stethoscope around his neck and cleared his throat.
"Anyways, would you come into the treatment room for a final check?" He wiped his hands on his thighs and stood up.
What's he hiding?
"Check up for what?" I questioned as he walked past me and out the door. "Medicines and such." He vaguely answered.
I decided not to question.
Once we walked into the treatment room, the kind nurse there, a friend of my mother's, greeted me with a smile, followed by a gasp.
I knit my brows together. She looked at Doctor Ahn and her mouth found it difficult but she formed a smile again.
"Jimin! You've recovered so much, healthy as ever!" She forced a smile.
"Thanks but I'm still as fat as ever. I don't understand what's so healthy about me now. It's even worse than before, I need to lose more weight..I would've achieved my desired figure if it weren't for you." I told her, mumbling the last part.
Both the doctor and the nurse exchanged worried glances and then offered me a seat in front of a stretcher.
I sat down, and the nurse went to her station preparing something, and the doctor kept an eye on the door.
My mother's friend found it difficult to nurse me since she was like my aunt. She couldn't see my this unhealthy, except she thought I was skinny.
No matter how much they say that I know they just want me to be happy.
They're lying.
I'm fat.
I was diagnosed with Anorexia 8 months ago, even though I had finally reached my goal of the ideal body type. They kept saying I was too skinny and unhealthy.
They put me on a diet plan to gain weight, and I'm even more obese than before. How does anyone find this weight appealing?
I was in deep thought, when I snapped back to reality I saw two huge men dressed in black walk in, the doctor subtly pointed at me and my heart started racing faster.
I moved a little in my chair to see the nurse was filling in a syringe.
My chest felt heavier by the second as the two men walked towards me to either side of me, "What's going on?!" I demanded.
The nurse turned around, tears at the brim of her eyes and she forced my sleeve up and injected me with a yellowish liquid.
My heartbeat echoed in my ears, and my vision slowly blurred as they all crowded around me, and soon it was all black.
