The city sparkled at night
And I'm not just talking about the lights glowing through windows
Or the stars twinkling above our heads
Or even the lamps illuminating the streets as cars drive by

How you seem to shine like a thousand moons
And dance like a lone feather in the wind
Your smile is like a neon sign
The way you speak is like a million angels singing
And when I look at you I know I don't ever want to lose you
You're my universe, my everything
But I am not your god
You are your own goddess
You worship yourself the same way I worship you
The same way I should worship myself
All I wish is that someday I'll be able to love myself the way I love you
