Can we rewind the clock?
Go back to the good days?
When we were just children.
Playing hopscotch on the sidewalk.
Shoving our face full of sweets.
Drinking cherry Kool-Aid at school.
When we were innocent.
Can't we go back?
To before we grew up?
Before the world came crashing down.
And killed all our dreams.
I'd use all my birthday wishes.
Just to go back.
To a time where I loved life.
Instead of wishing it would be over.
Can't we rewind the clock just this once?
