She was a sunflower in a garden full of roses,
Standing out among the rows of red petals,
She towered above their thorny stems,
And soaked up all the sun's rays,
However she felt as if she didn't belong,
Because she didn't look like the rest,
And that made her stand out,
She couldn't see her own beauty,
Because she couldn't look past the fact that she wasn't a rose,
But who would want to be an ordinary rose,
When you can be a unique sunflower?
