Warning!!!
This is a Trigger alert. Sophie will go through a case of panic attack. And Demola will be a jerk. An apologetic jerk, but still a jerk. You have been warned.Demola's POV
*
She didn't just walk out on me.
It's been a while since the moment in Oli's room and I still can't accept the fact that she walked out on me, even though I hadn't given her a reason not to.
I watch them eat dinner and banter after an hour of me completing my work, playfully tickling each other while watching TV.
Each time Sophie catches me watching them, she looks away instantly.
This isn't supposed to drive me crazy, but it does.
Who does she think she is, coming here and sashaying her luscious hips that way and then proceeding to ignore me?
Smiling around the house like an angel and brightening up only Oli's day? What about mine?
I muffle a groan, knowing I'm being totally unreasonable right now.
"Sophie!"
"Sir?"
"I need to see you in private!" I narrow my eyes into slits at her, knowing I'm being difficult but not caring much.
"Daddy, why are you shouting at Sophie?" My darling daughter asks in an inquisitive tone. Sophie on the other hand, rolls her eyes and gets up.
Her sweatpants pull down a little and my eyes roam around the spot just below her waist, eyeing it hungrily.
I lick my dry lips.
Have I been celibate for too long?
Wait, I had no issue with not bedding a woman for over six months now but ever since Sophie, I've been on tenterhooks.
"Daddy, why did you shout at Sophie?" Oli repeats.
I curse inwardly. That's another habit I'd developed ever since Sophie came along. I zone out a lot now.
"I am not shouting baby, I have a sore throat." I tell Oli.
Oli nods in understanding. "Oh. You should take Coflin, it helps me when I cough." She says thoughtfully.
I heave a sigh at how adorable Oli is right now. If only she knew that I didn't need the Coflin syrup she just prescribed, I needed something more than that.
Someone.
I needed a certain curvy lady with blue dyed hair and a pretty face.... Okay. I should shut it out now.
Sophie steps closer. "Sir?"
"Come up to my room."
She frowns. "What for?"
"You ask too much questions." I mumble lowly so Oli won't hear me.
"If you don't tell me why you want me there, then I am sorry but I won't come up with you."
"Stop being so childish okay, I want to show you something."
She fidgets. "Is that all?"
"Of course. What else could there be?"
"Promise?" She eyes me warily and I huff before nodding, wondering why she's fidgeting.
"Hormise." I say quickly so she won't get it that I didn't actually say the right word.
