Sophie's POV
*
The ride to Tania's house is silent. Not just silent but gravely silent.
Demola keeps stealing glances at me like he believes I'm going to run away anytime soon while I am beyond embarrassed.
I can't believe I did that with him and I even did as much as screaming so much...screaming out in pleasure. That has never happened that way before.
What am I saying? I've never willingly done something like this before. Stepfather didn't give any choice whenever he would creep into my room and fondle me or try to make out with me. I shudder at the memory of those days I spent with the weird man.
My gaze drifts to Demola and I look away quickly. I feel morbidly mortified that I allowed him do this. He has touched me more intimately than anyone else. Step dad doesn't count.
Demola throws me a sideways glance, then clears his throat. "How do you feel?"
I feel cheap and dirty. I feel as horrible that I carelessly gave myself to a guy just because I like him. More so, I did that on our first date... In the damn car!
"I'm okay." I reply instead. While I wanted to sound nonchalant, I'm even more embarrassed because I sound shy instead.
That was a mind shattering activity and I enjoyed every bit of it because I wasn't violated. It was totally consensual. But the thought of what we just did alone makes me feel so cheap because I didn't have any control over myself.
I just gave myself to him on the night of our first date. What does that even make him think about me?
I look up at his handsome face and blink twice. The cheek of this man! Why is he smiling?
"Why are you smiling?" I narrow my eyes in suspicion.
He shrugs. "Nothing."
"Really? You just started smiling like someone who won a huge amount of money for no actual reason?"
"Watching you come down from my lap was hilarious."
The suspicious gaze turns into a glare. That wasn't hilarious.
Getting off his lap with my essence dripping between my thighs before I got back to my seat wasn't hilarious but embarrassing and here he is, grinning widely.
"Come on." He groans, his tone persuasive.
"Really mature." I mock.
Flaring my nose, my lips purse grimly. So my slight fault in comfortability made him this giddy. I ignore him throughout the rest of the ride.
When we get to Tania's house, I'm eager to step out of the car and I do so before he even takes off his seatbelt.
His eyes are questioning but I don't spare him a glance while walking into the house. Looking around, I spot Oli and Tania talking with their Barbie dolls in hand, facing the TV and backing the numerous guests that are in the sitting room.
I look around again. I didn't know there'd be so much guests tonight.
"But you said she would be here by that time." Tania's high pitched voice questions. She is the same height with Oli, just a bit chubbier and has a wider nose and a diastema. Otherwise, the two could literally be passed off as twins. That act like twins, talk the same way and are best friends.
Tania sometimes reminds me of Poppy in Trolls, a Disney cartoon. Oli loves watching it even though she has watched it a few thousand times already.
