Your mom looks over to you and grabs your hand. "Sweet, I think you need to know that if you and Finn want to date, it's okay with your dad and I. You're 15, you should be able to," she says, a sweet smiles on her face.
"Thanks, mom, but I don't know," you say, leaning your head on her shoulder.
Later, while getting off the plane, your dad put his hand on your shoulder. "Mom talked to you?" he asked.
"Yeah," you say.
"Good. Please, just know we're here to support you," he says, taking his hand off your shoulder. You look up and smile at him.
"Thanks, dad. I love you," you say.
"I love you too."
