-Victoria-

Silence. That's was the only thing that surrounded us, as we prepared to leave to go back to London. Everyone was moving boxes onto the ship, while my father was talking to Johnathan's old friend but someone we could trust. I turned to look at Sparrow but for the last days, we were here he wouldn't speak to me, barely even look at me. I felt like he knew, and he didn't want to accept it. I walked onto the stairs leading onto the ship, and as Sparrow placed the cargo down for the sailors to grab, I walked over to him.

"Sparrow, can I talk to you?" He turned around to look at me, however, he didn't want to look at me. So, he just nodded. We went under the deck and went to our room. He closed the door behind him. "Is there something wrong?"

"No. Why would there be?" I lifted his head up to look at me. "I'm fine, just wanna get home." I looked at him in disbelief.

"Captain on deck." We heard loudly that interrupted us.

"Fine. Lie to me then." I moved my hand from his chin and turned around to leave.

"It doesn't involve you." I turned back around. "I'm just worried about my leadership now, within the Brotherhood." I placed my hands on his face.

"Everyone is shit scared of you, they won't question your leadership." I told Sparrow, he nodded, smiling.

"This is why I love you, you're always truthful and supportive." Sparrow told me.

"No, I'm just honest." I placed my lips on his. A sudden knock, interrupted us causing us to pull away and look behind me. To see Arthur.

"Sparrow, Edward wants to see you." I turned back to look at Sparrow, and I shrugged at him.

"You'll be fine." Sparrow nodded before grabbing my head and kissing my forehead, before leaving me to follow Arthur. "You'll be fine." I said to myself.

-Sparrow-

I followed Arthur out of the lower deck, to have him stop at the stairs to the captain's deck. I turned to look at Arthur before nodding at him for him to leave me.  I walked up the stairs, to see Jacob standing in front of the helm.

"He's in a good mood, so take that as an advantage." He told me and a nodded in reply, before walking past him and to the end of the captain's deck. I saw Edward looking out.

"I remember when I was a kid, these ships were only getting built." I slowly walked to stand next to him. "If you love my daughter. You'd do anything, to keep her safe? He turned his head to me, I nodded.

"Yes, Sir."

"Then leave her." Edward told me, looking at me. I shook my head.

"I ain't gonna do that. " I told him.

"Then she's gonna die, and that will be on your hands."

"I can protect her. And I will." I told Edward.

"Then you're more stupid than you look. Because you don't understand the risk of losing someone." He was about to walk away.
