The room, was dark, but the only light in the room was from a well-lit candle. The man limped over to the chair, at the desk where the candle lit over the area. The pain of his leg, shot through his body. "So what part of the leg did you take off?" I grabbed a match from the desk and lit the match and placed it against the candle making my face lit up.

"If you're gonna kill me, kill me quickly."

"I haven't been ordered to kill you, 'cause you're not our problem."

"Then what do you want?"

"We want help."

"Who?" I stood up, and slowly walked towards the man so that he could see my face. "Who are you?"

"I'm Jacob, and it's Victoria that requires your help." I looked at his leg, that was placed on top of the desk. I grabbed my blade, before lifting up his trouser leg to see the wooden form that replaced his lower half of his leg.

"Infection, lucky I realised earlier or I would've had to take the full leg and I wouldn't of lasted a week." I removed my blade to place his trouser back over, and looked to him. "Now, why would Victoria send you?"

"Sparrow has gone insane." Andrew sighed before slowly standing up.

"He has a temper, he'll be fine." He said going towards the window and looking at the crack of the window curtain.

"And you class massacring as having a temper." I said to him, I then pulled my pistol out and pointed it to him. "I'm not an idiot, so don't fuck with me." I saw his arm move into the same position it was before he moved towards the window. He then turned around to face me. "Victoria wants to know everything."

"Well, even I don't know about everything." I was about to move toward him, before he spoke again. "What cause it?"

"Mutinied, while we were at Boston. They wanted rid of him, replace of leadership." I told him what he needed to know.

"With the death of Scar, they would believe he ended up weak. Allowing theives in their brotherhood." He added. "I will help you, for the sake of my sons."

"Before I allow you into the Guild, we want to know about the mother."

"I'll only speak to Victoria, no one else."

"Well looks like I can't allow you into the Guild then, until I know you're telling the truth." And when I said that, he leaned down to his boot, pulling a small, but sharp blade out and then leaning back up to pull another blade out from his back belt. He thre them both onto the ground.

"You can search me, but that's the whole part of trust, right?" I put my pistol away into my belt also. "Their left, knowing that I wouldn't leave the children. I remember that night when she did leave, having to quiet Sparrow down, to make sure he didnt wake James up. She knew what I wanted, and when she gave me that, she knew that she could get out."

"Sons." I said.

"Yeah, they'd carry on the family name, it's what every man wants." He finished. "We had to tell James that she then was found dead, plague. I made sure that Sparrow never spoke a word of it."

"Sparrow then knew, he wouldn't have to say anything." Andrew nodded.

"And when he murdered my then-wife, I realised he was like me. Fucked up. But yet, I never spoke a word of it. James found out what he done and said he'd 'take' his place and run, I didn't give them the best life. So I allowed James to go and make sure he and Eleanor wasn't followed." I moved towards him and bent down to grab the blades that Andrew threw on the floor, before standing up I grabbed them and looked to him. As I stood up, I handed them to him to take them.

"You're gonna need these."

-Victoria-

"Make sure no one gets in this Guild without my permission." I told a dozen of guild members. "And if anyone of you see Jacob, let me know. And Sparrow." They nodded, before leaving towards the exits of the guilds. I turned around. "James." He turned to me, I walked over to him. "I don't want you around."

"Why? I can protect myself." He tried to persuade me.

"If anything happens, I don't want to take your body back to Italy. Your wife needs you, so does your children." I told him.

"He's my brother, he won't hurt me and I know you'll never let him hurt anyone else." I let out a sigh.

"Fine, but you're gonna need a weapon." James smiled.

We stood in the armoury. "Never hurts to carry more than one blade." I told James. "Make sure that every blade you carry is accessible so you don't get killed." James nodded understanding. "I know this is not your fight, but we both know what Sparrow is really like." I honestly told him. He just nodded.
