Sparrow and I quickly went to the brotherhood telling them to meet them at the thieves' gathering. Then, we traveled by the sewers to get there. When we ran in, everyone drew their weapons upon seeing Sparrow. Arthur and Liz ran towards us, both drawing their weapons and pointing them at Sparrow.

Sparrow smirked and put his hands up in the air. "I see they know who I am." he whispered to me.

I nodded. "I trained my brothers and sisters well." I said, making him laugh.

"Very  well I can see!"

I nodded at Liz and Arthur, though I could tell that they didn't like this, and raised my hand, making everyone steady their weapons. Sparrow put his hands to his sides and looked around. He went in front of me. Guarding me.

"Scar, don't you know what would happen if you hurt her?"

I looked above us and saw the Assassin Brotherhood gathering all around us. Scar put down her bow and arrow and jumped down into the gathering. The rest of Sparrow's family followed after her.

"Sparrow, you're here surrounded by thieves! How do you know that it's not just another plan from this Night Thief to kill you?" Scar gave me a deathly glare.

"Scar, I trust her in this, and besides, this is a serious matter to be dealt with," Sparrow said. He looked at me, and when I nodded at him, we walked into the middle of the gathering together.

"Listen, this isn't a trap! This is a serious! Thomas Vêińe is trying to kill some of us in this room---including me, with plagues rats. But he doesn't understand that it will kill him and everyone else too, unless we stop him altogether." I looked at them around me. "I know some of you are not capable of working with our enemy, and I understand. I felt like that when I first met Sparrow, but you'll have to trust them, because we will be fighting with them."

Sparrow smiled at me. "I know that all of you didn't expect to be standing in the same room with each other without killing one another, but this is something we need to work together on to survive!" Sparrow exclaimed.

"NO! We will never take orders from those bloody thieves! Sparrow, fuck the rules kill her!" Scar said.

She charged at me with her sword. Sparrow pulled me behind him, and I saw the sword go into his stomach.

"Sparrow!"

He fell back into me, and I quickly grabbed his shoulder. Holding him, I and laid him gently onto the ground.

"Oh my gosh! Sparrow! No . . . What have I done?" Scar screamed.

I looked up at her. "Take her to the cell!" Arthur and the Liz grabbed her and dragged her down the stairs. "As for the rest of you Assassins, go home!" They all looked at each other before running off.

"Sparrow, stay with us! Doctor! Get the doctor, now!"

One of the thieves sent for the doctor. When he came, he examined him. "Take him to the medical bay! Don't worry, Miss Night, we'll keep him alive."

Sparrow was then taken away from me. I heard Liz and Arthur come up the stairs.

"Well?" I asked them.

"Liz knocked her out. She'll be asleep from a while," Arthur said.

"Make sure Sparrow is alright when he wakes up. Tell me when Scar comes around, for I'll want to talk to her myself."

They nodded, going in different directions. I walked to my chamber, sighing as I sat on my bed. Scar's is going to start this war between our families, and it's all my fault.
