Chapter III - Tri Claw

"Nashi, Yuni das been kidnapped by the dark guild Tri Claw," shouted Adam as he skidded to a halt.

"WHAT!" Replied Yuni in an uncivilized manner.

"I see," Erza said, " Well Nashi why don't you make a team to rescue her."

"Me?" Nashi replied surprised "Well then, Adam because he saw it and he's pretty strong."

"Thanks," thanked Adam.

"and, Kawa 'cause she's my best friend, and maybe Storm and Etsuko," Nashi continued.

"Alright then we'll leave first thing tomorrow," insisted Erza.

The next day when all the team members were gathered in front of the Fairytail guild hall. 

"We're all here now so umm , what's our plan," asked Etsuko.

"We're going to go to Ochre Mountain where they have a guild base is," replied Nashi.

"So we're catching the train there, right," said Kawa.

"Yeah," answered Adam as they started walking to the train station.

Nashi, Kawa, and Storm were sitting on one side of the 4 seats, two on each side, with Adam and Etsuko on the other, Erza was sitting in a chair a few rows down from them. 

As the train started Kawa asked, "Who's everyone's crush here?"

"I don't have one" lied Nashi.

"Oh, we all know that you and Storm are secretly dating," teased Kawa.

"We are not," sighed Storm.

"Anyway what about you two, Adam and Etsuko," said Nashi changing the center of attention to the others.

"I don't think I dave  one," replied Adam.

"Umm, Yeah me to," Etsuko agreed.

"Dave you deard Tropic Island: Super Pirate Version X, is coming out soon," Adam inquired, conjuring a whole new conversation.

"Yeah, I can't wait!" Kawa stated continuing on the subject.

The group kept on talking about all the amazing features of their favourite game for the rest of the journey, almost forgetting the perils that would await.

Nashi, Kawa, Storm, Etsuko, Adam, and Erza were standing in front of a small wooden shack, on a steep mountain covered with pine trees and mossy rocks.

"Is this seriously their base," complained Nashi, she was feeling nervous the whole climb but know she just felt pathetic.

"Remember don't judge a book by its cover," argued Erza, "You guys go in and I'll come in if it seems like you need help."

The team crept into the shelter not as stealthily as they would have liked to, but being sneaky wouldn't have worked. Three Tri Claw members were sitting on a table in the middle of the room.

"We wish to speak to your master," Storm said boldly.

"We're the only members fairytail freak," replied the one on the right, she had red hair and golden armor.

"Oh, be nice, Ruby, he's just sixteen," mocked the lady with black hair and a long blue kimono and a matching blue Japanese style umbrella.

"Ruby, Sapphire quit squabbling," the woman in the middle ordered standing up, "We've got a job to do."

"You're right, Amber," Ruby agreed.

"It's time we get things started," Sapphire giggled as they stood up.

 "We're ready when you are," confronted Nashi.

"Yeah!" the rest of them shouted.

"I wouldn't think so," Amber said smugly.

Two walls rose up splitting Nashi's team into three groups each with one member of the Tri Claw guild. Kawa and Adam were with Ruby, Storm, and Etsuko was with Sapphire, Nashi was with Amber.

"It's two versus one," challenged Adam, "you're outnumbered."

"Beat that you pig-stained nob farmer!" Kawa cheered.

"Oh really," Ruby smiled as she put her hand on the ground, "Summoning: Reuben!"

"What you even have a crocodile with a pig name!?" Adam and Kawa cried out together as a crocodile appeared under Ruby.

"Even if you dave a weirdly named crocodile, I've got a talking, flying cat!" Adam showed off.

"I'm not your cat!" Insisted Kawa.

"And Reuben is not a silly name for a crocodile!" Ruby Objected.

"Yes, it is!" Kawa argued.

"EARTH DRAGONS IRON FIST!" Adam was behind Ruby in an instant about to punch her with a clenched hand covered in rocks.

"Vine Magic: Ivy Trap!" Ruby quickly looked behind her and trapped Adam with a creeper and Reuben jumped onto Kawa.

Meanwhile, Storm and Etsuko weren't having any more Luck.

"WATER MAKE: CAGE!"  Storm trapped  Sapphire in an aqua prison.

"Voice Magic: Shattering melody!"  Sapphire sang a note so loud the water burst out breaking the jail.

"Fire Enchant!" Etsuko grabbed some shurikens and shot them at Sapphire, they caught on fire in mid-air.

"Voice Magic: Song Breeze!" Sapphire sang making the flames on the shurikens go out, then caught them on her fingers.

"I thought not being to move because you're wearing a ginourmouse kimono would make a huge difference," Storm Stated.

"It does," replied Sapphire.

Hi, everyone, it's me UniCatricorn! I've decided not to release a chapter Saturday and try to release at least one every week. I named the three a Tri Claw members after stones that were also names. I called the crocodile Reuben after Reuben from Minecraft Story mode, 'cause he was a great character and a pig. Picture up the top is fan art of Nashi by puplatte who has supported me from the very start. I got quite a few ideas from KatieLove2Write who also has supported me and gave me tips and advice, she also has a really good Fairytail Next Generation Series. It feels like forever since I published the first chapter even though it's only been a few days, so I hope you keep on enjoying and reading the series. 🦄🐱
