On stage, Erza was sitting at a table judging the final cake of the cooking competition. As she took a piece off the room grew silent waiting for the last decision when BOOM! The cake went flying into Erza's face as the stage exploded.

"Alright, I can't believe they took this long!" Exclaimed Nashi, however as the dust cleared no one saw who they were expecting.

Yes, Jason, Trinity, Ekaterina and Will were there but they were sprawled on the ground covered in blood and bruise. The shocking part was that above them was James.

"Heh," he muttered under his breath, but then looked down as he saw Erza rising up a dark aura around her.

"Oh, no," gasped Nashi.

"You... ruined... my cake!" Erza roared blindly charging at James.

Swiftly he dodged, a smug expression crawling on his face, "You were having a battle tournament, right? Then how about we have one, but I'm the leader.

The battle tournament was created by Luxus the first year he was Master because Natsu had a meltdown saying that the battle of Fairytail was fun, and so now there was a battle tournament. Though only the people signed up would compete and the previous generation decided not to compete a few years ago so this generation had a chance.

"We're doomed," Nashi said out loud as she ran through the town looking for Levy. Ekaterina had probably already set the traps so Etsuko would be ruled out. They needed to disable all the Jutsu Shiki before the competitors encountered each over.

Finally, Nashi skidded to a halt in front of the hall. The numbers had already dropped by half, that meant half the amount of people who could help take on James. Even worse there was no Levy in sight. But of course, her hot-headed father was, and so was Jellal.

"LET ME OUT YOU @^&*#($ LOSER! YOU'RE NOT GETTING RID OF FAIRYTAIL OR MAGIC AND YOU WON'T KIDNAP MY DAUGHTER AGAIN! WE'LL STOP YOU FIRST!"

"Natsu calm down, we both know that's not going help," Jellal insisted calmly.

"Err, do you know where Levy is?" Nashi asked disrupting their totally civilized conversation.

"Nope," They both replied blankly as they looked at me.

"Oh, then I'll see you later," responded Nashi.

"Wait," paused Jellal, "Rewriting the Jutsu Shiki won't work because there's a Jutsu Shiki around town which stops you rewriting it and using Healing Magic on others."

"Right," Nashi answered sprinting off deeper into Magnolia.

As Jason awoke he found himself in a cellar around him were old barrels which had a slight scent of beer. The air was hot and muggy in the small enclosed area though even with the taste of blood in his mouth he still knew they had a chance. Jutsu Shiki would heal anyone the competition leader's wanted and formally it was him and his team. As Jason expected the group's scars, pain and bruises disappeared letting the others slowly wake up. Jason summoned a sword in his mouth and threw it at Will.

Will panicked and caught it with his hands behind his back, "Dude, first that's gross and second, you could have given me a warning."

"Yes, just cut these ropes so we can escape," ordered Jason impatiently as he turned around so his back was facing Will's.

"Yes, Sir," grumbled Will shuffling backwards and slicing the rope carefully.

They followed by freeing the girls, then getting ready for Will to teleport them outside.

"You're all ready?" inquired Jason.

"Yeah," whispered back the others.

"Then let's go!"

Nashi ran through the town hoping that she wouldn't run into anyone, but she did and that person was who she least wanted. Storm.

Immediately a Jutsu Shiki sprang up around them creating the battlefield.

"Hi."

"Hi."

They stood there for a few more seconds unsure of what to do.

"Soo, umm," Nashi started but Storm took a few steps towards her so their faces were a few centimetres apart.

"Errrrr," Blushed Nashi panicking and looking around for an escape.

Storm put an arm around her back squeezing it slightly.

He punched Nashi in the stomach, blood spurted out of her mouth as she fell unconscious.

"Sorry," He apologised as he put Nashi next to the wall, "I can't let James hurt you anymore."

Yo! How's it going? This chapter took a turn cause I was bored. Nothing else happened, life is boring. Thanks to Xaeline for the first comment. I took a bunch of ideas from KatieLove2Write so go check her out. I hope you keep on reading and enjoying this book. 🦄🐱
