Chapter VI - Beginnings

A few days after Nashi returned, Nashi and the others were crowded around a large white egg with light blue stripes at the bottom of the sphere. Suddenly there was a crack the whole room went so quiet that you could hear a squirrel nibbling a nut. The egg cracked and fell apart inside it was a small white cat with blue spots.

"OMG HE'S SO ADORABLE" Sylvia shouted at the top of her lungs

But the cat instantly looked at Adam, flew at him as fast as a bullet and started chewing his arm.

"Hey, Adam maybe you should name him," suggested Happy, "I mean he is attached to you."

"That's such a bad joke Dad," complained Kawa.

"Ummm, alright what about Loki, After the God of Mischief," decided Adam.

"Mmm, Do you read Norse mythology Adam," Approved Carla.

"Well, I read a book about it a few years ago because I was bored," Adam replied.

When Nashi got home, Lucy asked her how it went.

"It was fine, Mum," Nashi groaned, "The cat was born and Adam named him Loki."

At that moment Natsu walked in.

"Tell Nashi what happened when she was born, Lucy," Natsu said.

Lucy was casually lying on the couch, when suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her stomach, she just thought her future child was kicking her. However, it started getting worse and worse. Lucy not knowing how to tell if she is about to give birth just carried on reading. Natsu rushed into the room to see his precious family to be.

"How are you?" he asked.

"I'm fine my little devil," Lucy responded, "She's definitely your child though."

"Do you need help, should I get you anything, what can I do for you!" Natsu panicked, clutching his head and freaking out, "I'll get Wendy!"

He rushed out of the door as Lucy thought 'he's so silly sometimes.'

A minute later Natsu stormed back in, clutching Wendy.

"You didn't have to come," apologised Lucy, as Wendy dusted herself off.

"I'll check you anyway," Wendy stated, putting her hands over Lucy.

"So am I alright?" Lucy asked looking at Wendy's eyes slowly growing bigger.

"Y-y-you're about to give birth!" Stammered Wendy.

"What do I do!" Natsu shrieked.

"Just don't do anything stupid!" Explained Lucy hurridly.

"Lucy!"  Exclaimed Natsu as his wife flopped down on the couch motionless.

It was 3 days later when Natsu was sitting next to the still unconscious Lucy and the newborn baby on his knee. He felt a rustle in the blue blanket and looked behind him. Lucy was awake, she looked at Natsu and said; "what's her name?" 

"Nashi replied," Natsu.

"She reminds me more of  ham than pears," Complained Lucy

"I guess, but my first thought was orange," Natsu said playfully.

"Really?!" Lucy exclaimed, "Wait how long have I been out for?"

"3 days,"

"Oh, that's why I'm so hungry,"

"You're already fat enough!" Snickered Happy as he flew in through the window.

"Shut up you stupid cat!" Lucy Scolded, jumping out of bed "and don't use the window, use the door!"

"Well you shouldn't leave it open," Happy told smugly.

"it wasn't me, It was Natsu!" Lucy shouted back.

"Nope, I didn't touch it,"  Concluded Natsu, "it was you,"

Natsu and Lucy looked up and saw that Nashi was burning Happy's tail.

As Lucy and Natsu finished the story there was a loud rap on the door. Natsu who was the closest opened it immediately.

"Trinity and the others are back!" Gasped Adam with Loki still attached to him, outside in the warm weather.

"What are you waiting for let's go!" Nashi commanded as they rushed out onto the streets.

"Eh, whats with the crowd," moaned a girl with messy black hair.

"come on big sis cheer up," Adam encouraged.

"Yeah, Trinity you're famous," prodded Ekaterina in a super-teenagery way, she was Antonio's older sister.

"Would you two stop it!" ordered Jason with his spiky purple hair bouncing.

"Hey, kids!" Nashi, Adam, Storm, Etsuko, Kawa, Yuni, Antonio, Chad, Loki and Ivy turned to see Will striding with his long legs towards the group.

"Have you started setting up for the harvest festival and Fantasia?" inquired Jason.

"Well, I haven't really thought about it yet," Nashi answered.

This is how the Fantasia works.

First is the cooking competition where contestants try to make the best food which fits the guidelines.

Second is the Miss Fairytail contest. The girls here have two get the most votes from the crowd using their beauty.

Finally at the end is the Fantasia parade where floats tour the streets of Magnolia.

However, there is also a competition for Strength and Skill. The last year winner chooses a team and attacks the other competitors any time in the celebrations. There are also Jutsu Shiki traps all around Magnolia which serves as their battlefield. The winner is the last one standing.  

Hi, it's me! Sorry, it took so long but I've been busy and unmotivated but since listening to a lot of music I'm all fired up! I decided how the story is going to end but don't worry, this isn't going to end soon. This book recently got over one-hundred views so thank you so much for your support.
