If you don't know what happens in the Tartaros and Alvarez arcs I would recommend finding out before reading this chapter.
"Well, aren't you clever!" complimented James, " You see the New World Order aims to rid the world of magic. Seven years ago we took a humongous step towards our goal, we discovered Antimagic. Antimagic is the opposite of magic. When magic and antimagic meet they cancel each over out, it's basic maths; 5 + - 5 = 0. In turn, that means the only one of you that could defeat me is Nashi."
"Why!" Nashi demanded.
"Many people believe that magic was created by Zeref, Love or some other miraculous concept, however, magic was created by Angels," explained James.
"Wait, do angels even exist!" Ivy interrupted hurriedly.
"Yes, they do, Mira has demon takeover and Ekaterina has Angel Takeover, so if Mira can get powers from demons that means Ekaterina can get powers from angels." answered James,"On with my explanation, the only reason why people think Zeref created magic is that he was the first human to harness antimagic so extensively. This is because the creation of antimagic is demons. The demons Zeref created are just toys compared to the real ones, except for one; E.N.D. When Zeref was creating his demons E.N.D succeeded only because to defeat antimagic you need antimagic, not only that you needed an incredibly strong individual with a lot of persistence and willpower. However, there is a specific glitch only some people can use antimagic, and they have to be part demon and some other reason that we don't understand. Except, your parents know why only certain people can use antimagic and everything else I just told you."
As we processed all that had just been said Jason asked, "It, still doesn't explain why Nashi is the only one who can defeat you."
"Well, you know how Nashi's dad - Natsu is E.N.D, it means Nashi biologically part demon and she already knows how to use antimagic, it's star dragon slayer magic," concluded James.
"You mean that golden fire thing!" gasped Etsuko.
"Yes"
"I'll do it, to protect Fairytail!" Nashi said bravely taking a step forward.
"No, don't!" cried out Adam.
"We weren't there but we heard what happened" Trinity pleaded.
"Yeah," agreed Ekaterina.
"I have to!" Nashi spoke.
Before Nashi could go Yuni gently grabbed Nashi by the arm and whispered into her ear, "Go but don't die I still have a 101 ways to defeat you."
Nashi smiled took a step forward, "It doesn't matter if I'm bad, good or crazy I'll do anything to protect my friends!"
"Very well let's see what you've got!" encouraged James.
Nashi closed her eyes concentrating as golden flames leapt around her feet quickly growing higher and higher. When the flames fully engulfed her she opened her eyes and shouted, "Alright, bring it on!"
James threw a punch at Nashi narrowly missing. She followed through by morphing into a blazing yellow flame and changing back into her normal self, less than a metre away from James before punching him in the face.
"Woah, I never knew I could do that!" Nashi exclaimed landing back on the ground.
"Oh, you'll pay for that," challenged James wiping the dirt off his face.
"Really?" Nashi replied, "Star Dragon's Roar!"
Nashi shot her burning flame at James knocking him against the wall. When Nashi got closer James swung his leg out only to miss again, they then had a brutal fight with James missing every single move.
"I see I'm going to have to use my special attack," announced James.
"No, you won't!" Nashi exclaimed running towards James before jumping above him.
"DRAGON SLAYER ULTIMATE ATTACK GOLD INFERNO: DEMON SCYTHE!"
Nashi brought down a giant slice of golden fire on James knocking him down preventing him from getting up.
Nashi landed back down on the ground panting.
"Good job! now let's go find everyone else," Yuni celebrated.
But before she could react Nashi swiped at Yuni throwing her against the wall.
"No... not again," cried Etsuko putting her hands to her mouth as draconic features started climbing across Nashi's body.
