"Why did I ever decide to go so early," moaned Natsu walking in front of Nashi, Storm and in between them Adam, Etsuko, Loki and Kawa.
"Honestly, I have no idea what goes on in your head, but why'd you have to drag us along as well," Carla stated flying above them with Happy.
"Aye... Sir..." Happy grumbled.
After Natsu had woken everyone at 3am in the morning to go on a training journey, they arrived at Worth Woodsea.
"Well let's get started!" exclaimed Natsu not so enthusiastically.
"Yay," Nashi said sarcastically.
The group proceeded by slowly collapsing and falling asleep. In the afternoon they were woken up by a splash of freezing cold water. As they looked around dazed they saw two red haired people. One of them was a girl around seventeen and the other was a male in his 40s.
"Is that..." Kawa started.
But before she could finish her sentence she was interrupted by the girl who jumped onto Etsuko screaming, "Etsukiiii!"
"Oh, hey Vyper," stammered Etsuko while being squashed by Vyper.
"Yo, how's it going Erik!" Greeted Natsu by waving at his old acquaintance.
"It's been awhile Flame Brain, do you take afternoon naps now days, I thought we were still to young for that," Erik replied.
"Hey we don't take naps usually!" exclaimed Happy.
"Yeah!" agreed Natsu, "We woke up at 3am to train our kids!"
"Well I've been training my child for the past year!" Retorted Erik, making Natsu grumble in defeat.
Meanwhile the younger beings were huddled together filling each other in on what had happened. Erik moved closer to Natsu to make sure they weren't overhead.
"You came here because of Nashi, right," assumed Erik.
"Yeah, I see you read today's paper," Natsu replied.
Erik then walked up to the teens and asked, " Pink head said you came here to train, right?"
Nashi nodded in response.
"Well then why are you sitting around chatting!" said Erik while the kids stumbled up trying to look ready.
"So why don't we start with all of you fighting against snake face in turns," Natsu instructed.
"All of us..." complained Kawa.
"Yes, all of you, except for Loki," clarified Natsu.
"I'll go first while you guys wake up," Vyper suggested.
"You ready!" asked Erik.
"Yeah!"
And in an instant Vyper had leaped into the trees as fast as lightning.
'I wonder what her strategy is' thought Nashi, 'Erik's hearing is extremely good so her usual surprise tactic won't work.'
BOOM!!! An explosion rocked the ground, the birds scattered everywhere making a dreadful racket. But in those few seconds Vyper managed to get in close and land a poison dragon crushing talon. As the smoke cleared Vyper quickly jumped back ready for another attack. Suddenly Erik lunged forward activating his magic. The two dragon slayers danced around the battlefield firing attacks at each over and continuously dodging attacks.
"Phuuuut, Phuuuuuuut! Times Up!" Shouted Natsu.
"Who's going to go next," Adam asked.
"I guess I will," volunteered Nashi.

Back in Magnolia Luke, Sylvia and Rin were sitting down discussing important matters.
"I don't understand! Why do Nashi and Storm get to go on a training journey," complained Luke.
"Yeah! We want to get stronger to!" cried Sylvia and Rin in unison.
As they kept on discussing this issue Lucy watched them proud of the little children.
