Chapter V - Lost Friend

Storm's POV

When, Etsuko, Adam, Kawa, the bedraggled Yuni and I, arrived we were instantly flooded by demanding questions.

"What happened?" Asked Wendy as she started taking Yuni to the infirmary.

"We conquered two of the Tri Claw members," answered Adam.

"However, the third one was murdered by someone called James from the New World Order, but he captured Nashi," Extended I.

"Consecutively, mum told us to flee, she stayed behind and fought James," Etsuko concluded, summing up their explanation.

"I don't want Nashi to disappear like Layla did," sniffed Lucy semi-hugging Natsu, at the rear of the guild hall.

"She won't, I promise," replied Natsu protectively, putting his head on Lucy's as they embraced in a heartwarming hug.

Erza didn't return in the few hours of the rest of the day. However early the subsequent day, I was sitting down on a bench in the exquisite Japanese gardens when I saw her. Erza was bleeding, battered and bruised but still standing tall.

"Where is Nashi?!" I insisted with an anxious expression on my face, my hope plummeting like a boulder.

"You live for your friends, you don't die for them," Erza expressed wisely, as she continued limping towards the guild.

'If only I was there Nashi wouldn't be trapped in some unknown place. We shouldn't listen to all the adults sprouting rubbish from their mouths.' I thought, clenching my fists into tight balls and almost leaking shiny crystal-like tears from my Navy eyes.

The following day Etsuko, Adam, Kawa, Yuni, who was almost completely healed thanks to Wendy's quick healing magic, and I were gathered around a circular table.

"I believe we should make our own search parties," I urged hoping the rest of my friends would agree.

"Why?" Debated Adam challenging his comrade.

"Our parents are already making important plans and decisions," Etsuko stated, agreeing with Adam, "they are also a lot stronger than us and have more experience with these kinds of circumstances."

"Yes, but Erza just gave up when she confronted James," I opposed.

"Yeah, Erza defeated the Dragon Queen before!" argued Kawa as I gave her grateful look.

"I think we should look for her too," everyone in the group glanced at Yuni, who had previously been silent.

"It's three to two, we win," I triumphed.

"So what's our plan?" Adam admitted downfall.

"We'll make two groups," I arranged, "one will be Etsuko, Kawa, Adam and myself; Yuni you'll make your own."

Yuni's POV

When Storm brought up the subject of looking for Nashi I debated. She was always in the way, making things difficult for me, but she was my rival, I felt lonely without her. When I said sided with Storm, I did it blindly without thinking. I was now wandering the guild hall looking for members to join my team. I saw some white hair in the crowd and nudged closer, I was right it was my cousin Ivy Strauss.

"Hey, Ivy!" I called out waving drastically at her as she turned around and started pushing her way towards me.

"What's up, Yuni?" she inquired casually, shaking her long hair out.

"Storm decided we're making our own search parties," I responded.

"I'm guessing you want me to come along?" she supposed.
