Chapter IX - The Plan

Storm was running along the street when he heard the sound of heavy boots on the cobbled surface and by some miracle it was Jason.

"Finally!" Jason sighed, stopping a fair distance away from Storm.

"What are you doing here?" Storm gaped back, "I thought you were half dead!"

"I was, but the Jutsu Shiki was written saying that the official leader can heal whoever they please," explained Jason, "my team and I have split up and now are looking for people to join our team against James." 

"What about the Jutsu Shiki, won't we have to fight each other?" Storm asked.

"Yes but after that, we won't have to again because of the rules."

"Right," replied Storm taking a step closer, "let's fight, I need a warm up!"

"Bring it on!"

The Jutsu Shiki sprung up and Jason and Storm engaged in battle.

"Requip; Water Emporer Armour!"

"Water Make: Sword!"

Storm and Jason's swords clashed showering blue sparks everywhere.

"I never knew you were so good!" complimented Jason as they jumped back ready for another clash.

"Well, I was just getting started!" Storm replied lunging at Jason.

Jason quickly sidestepped letting Storm faceplant the ground. He then lifted up his sword to stab Storm but he rolled away narrowly avoiding the attack.

"Water Make: Bullets!"

As the bullets hit, smoke quickly engulfed the area then slowly revealed Jason in his Golden Knight Armour holding his shield in front of him. Jason repeatedly jabbed at Storm who nimbly dodged most of the assaults. Seizing the moment Storm quickly kicked his opponent sending him flying backwards. However, Jason quickly requipped into his hunter armour and shot an arrow which scathed Storms arm, drawing blood.

"You're holding back, aren't you!" challenged Storm.

"Fine, I'll go a little harder! Requip Black Hell!"

Storm shuddered as Jason requipped. His swords alone looked like they were owned by the devil with their sharp curved blades. 

"Are you still so confident?" Jason questioned.

"I think so," gulped Storm ready for battle.

In a split second, Jason was standing behind Storm with his sword to Storm's throat, "really?."

"Fine, I admit defeat,"

"Very good," replied Jason as the Jutsu Shiki dematerialized and their wounds healed, "Now we find everyone else."

"Wait!"

Jason and Storm spun around as Storm thought 'Dammit.'

Yuni was standing there with a determined look in her eyes and slung over her shoulders was Nashi barely staying conscious. Jason hurridly healed Nashi using the Jutsu Shiki while took a step back.

"YOU *******!" Nashi shouted angrily punching Storm under his chin, "WHY ON EARTH DID YOU ******* DO THAT!"

"I didn't want you to be hurt by James," stammered Storm lying on the ground.

"BY KNOCKING ME OUT!"

"Well.."

"I CAN'T BELIEVE I EVER ****** LIKED YOU!"

Nashi stormed off with Yuni close behind trying to keep up. 

"Try not to do dumb stuff like that again," adviced Jason giving him a sorry look and following the girls.

Storm slowly got up and pursued the rest of the group keeping his head low in shame and guilt.

Sorry I haven't written in ages again! But I have two excuses... I'm now addicted to Avengers, YAY!!! I've watched Avengers Infinity War, and OMG I can't believe what happens at the end.  Also, I rewrote this chapter sooooooooooo many times 'cause I couldn't decide on the story. But then I kept getting stuck at around 400 words! So I temporarily gave up and read KatieLove2Write's fairytail next-gen story and the rest of the chapter just came to me. Now the important part... THIS STORY HAS OVER 230 VIEWS AND IS #29 IN CAPPY (CARLA AND HAPPY). Other than that life is still pretty boring. 🦄🐱
