CALEB'S HEAD was swirling with tons of emotions. His fear was growing even more as he continues to make his journey to Mt. Ararat.

Yes, he would face the Committee of Guardians. He will not be a hypocrite and keep his relationship with Autumn a secret.

Caleb asked his older brother, Daniel, to accompany him to this journey.

Caleb didn't have the luxury to enjoy and look around anymore.

"You can do this, bro. Nasa likuran mo lamang ako."

Tinanguan ni Caleb si Daniel. He was somehow glad that he wasn't alone in this.

Dahan-danahang binuksan ni Caleb ang pinto. He can do this.

"YOU, CALEB Strauss will be punished for all eternity for your unruly actions. You have broken the law that directly states that having any intimate affair with any human is highly verboten. It was a humungous blunder with consideration that the human you had an affair with was your own Mortal Half. With your actions, you have put our existence-our kind-to a compromising situation. We will not be considering any demands or appeal from you or from anyone from your family.

"From this day forward, you-Caleb Strauss-will no longer be a Watcher. You will have no access to your past life, especially those which concerns the Watchers and the Nephilims including your family. You will leave and never return to their care. You will be an outcast and will live a human that you will become. If we hear of you, keeping your communication with them, your family will also face the same fate that you have at hand.

"Your life will still be bound to you Mortal Half but you will not have any access, communication, responsibilities to her whatsoever.

"This decision is binding and is effective from this very moment."

The next thing Caleb knew, he was sprawled on the floor and in helluva lot of pain. Hell! He never felt anything as painful as this. Tila nilalamukos ang mga lamang loob niya. It's as if someone was eating him inside out.

Caleb yelped loudly when a another wave of pain crashed against the back part of his body. He could hear his bones cracking and snapping.

He would end up like Cade. He would end up a human.

A human.

Until this very moment, Caleb never thought of that word as something bad. His purpose is to protect a human and he has no reason to feel bitter about it. But by just thinking of himself being a human made his tongue taste sour and his head pound like a bulldozer.

In the middle of all the searing and throbbing pain, Autumn face hovered in Caleb's consciousness. Her smile seemed to lighten the toll that he was carrying. But something was wrong. Definitely wrong. Lumalayo ang dalaga.

"Autumn!"

No, babe. Don't go. Please, don't leave me!

Autumn just vanished. Just like that.

Then, Caleb blacked out.
