Chapter 3

Kise's POV

[ I let a sigh of relief escape as I finally entered my house and shut the door behind me. I've been living alone for two years now, my parents off for business overseas. It wasn't really hard for me to adjust. My sisters are never home, they left to live with their husbands quite a long time ago. It's just me here all by myself and actually? I've never felt lonely. Probably because of one special person besides Senpai or the rest of my fans in Japan and worldwide. That person must've been the one knocking on my door right now, making me spit the water I've been gulping out onto the floor. I hurried to open it, not bothering to dry the water out first. As the door opened wide, I felt my chest widen with happiness as a familiar face popped up, mirroring my expression.]

"Long time no see, Rio!"
'Heh, as if!'

[She laughed, brushing past me into the house, not before greeting me with a playful punch on my forearm. As we normally do, she was about to skip her way to the couch but as sloppy as ever, hadn't noticed the puddle of water on the floor. Her face could've had a personal appointment with the asphalt if I hadn't caught her in time.]

'Shit, what the fuck is that goo?'
"That's the water I spit from my mouth due to the excitement of you arriving so early."
'Ugh! Gross, u stupid blonde.'

[We both laughed and I set her off on the ground on a dryer spot. She took her shoes off and hopped on the couch as I forced myself to clean up my mess. After doing so I joined her on the couch, we ordered pizza and started talking about general subjects. Rio is my best friend ever since elementary school, though no one knows about her. She likes to disguise herself in different ways before coming over, this time tying her hair in two ponytails with the adding of a painted gas mask.]

"How's school? You're still crushing on that Senpai of yours?"
'Oho? I think I should be asking that.'
"You and your bullshit!"

[I whined, slapping her thigh to receive an actual display of pain in her eyes.]

'Why you brutal, Ryōta?! I'm just saying you and your Senpai are close enough and it looks suspicious.'
"Well, it's the same for you and me. By the way if you're so persistent on knowing how's he doing then he's doing fine. Happy?"
'Nothing juicy?'
"What have you become?! We've got one Aominecchi already, no need for another one!"
'Come on~ he's a great guy from what I've heard. Or is there something you don't wanna tell me?'
"Nothing really. He's into magic lately, him and Kazunari Takao from Shutoku." [She sat up, her eyes wide and mouth opened in a silent disclaim. ]

'I heard that shit actually works!'
