Soft acoustic guitar music with a Latin flavor piped in through the speakers setting a romantic tone, at least in Prince's eyes.
After helping himself to the bottle of wine he brought, he poured her a generous glass. Downing a half a glass, he topped it off and reentered the studio. Setting the glass next to her, she continued snipping at the ends of the flowers he brought and placing them in a vase.
"Thank you." Acknowledging his gesture with a smile that made his nose crinkle as he smiled back. She refocused on the flowers.
Periodically, they caught one another looking at each other. She returned his stare, along with a blush while he returned hers with a wink and a groan under his breath.
Wandering the studio Prince pretended to peruse the art, but truly he just savored her. From time to time, her lips mashed together to the beat and hips swayed causing a dryness in his throat. His solution was more sips of wine inching him closer to a buzz much earlier than he expected.
Once the bouquet was arranged to her liking, Sabine joined him amongst the canvases and photographs that lined a portion of the studio. It was kind of a maze of sorts and Prince used it to his advantage, playing a bit of hide and peek with her.
At one point, he was totally out of her sight, setting down his wine glass. Eventually, popping up behind her, his hands gently wrapped around her waist and swiveled her hips to the music. He was like an electrical current and gasped at his unexpected touch.
Walking out of his grasp, she worried about how his touch was affecting her. "Did you see anything you like? Pick something to take home." Waving her hands around and asking him about the art he viewed.
Oh he saw plenty that he'd liked and wanted to take home, her. Suggestive he wanted to be, but knowing how his hands on her already made her uncomfortable, he knew it was imperative to take it down a notch or he feared being asked to leave.
"Anything?" He asked.
"Sure." Puzzled that he needed clarification.
Wandering over to her desk, there was a small photograph of Sabine clipped to a wire board with a decorative clothespin. Where is this at? The Caribbean?"
Exhaling nervously surprised he noticed this small pic on her desk compared to all of the other artwork. "Yes. It's Belize actually."
"I've never been there. Looks gorgeous." Thoroughly enjoying the outline of her nipple exposed in the glimmer of the sunset.
"My family has a house there."
"Really? I'd love to go sometime." Catching himself quickly, "Uh I mean to Belize that is. I didn't mean to give the impression I was inviting myself."
Unpinning the photograph he couldn't take his eyes off of her in it, "Yeah...this one...can I have it? Did you take this?" Pretending to be dumb, he knew the woman in the picture was her.
"Oh you don't want that one. My grandmother took it actually...it's me." She carefully took it out of his hands.
Taking her hand into his, she involuntarily loosened her grip and allowed him to have the photograph back.
"Oh yes...yes I do..." His eyes zeroed in on her voluptuous figure more closely. "Sabine you are the most beautiful creature."
Uncomfortable with his intense stare and compliment, she walked across the room to grab her wine glass.
By the time she arrived back, Prince didn't realize she was standing there.
"Yeah...God doesn't even care about the sunset. He's too busy appreciating...you." He mumbled, but it was said clear enough that he was sure she heard him.
