After their last meeting, Prince cajoled Sabine into speaking via telephone, email and text.
However, in this agreement she made it abundantly clear that under no terms would she see him in person. Additionally, Prince was not permitted to place sexual innuendo in any of his communications with her or that would be the demise of their friendship.
It was apparent that keeping Prince at arms length was important to her sanity and the only way she could keep the focus on Clive and her relationship and their impending nuptials.
Most nights Prince burned some incense and candles and propped himself in bed admiring Sabine's Belize picture on his night table while texting her into the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes Clive spent the night at her place which permitted limited chatting while other nights Clive was at his apartment. Prince coveted the nights Clive stayed home because they would text or talk until sleep overcame, usually her first. He relished listening to her soft breathing on the other end of the line while imagining the pressure of her curves on him.

Tonight Sabine and Prince discussed her strong affinity to angels and how they've been a blessing in her life...but also how they've sometimes felt like a curse. This conversation brought all sorts of questions to Prince's mind and he was ready to fire away.
"Do you always listen to the angels?" Leading her down a line of questioning he was sure would benefit him and their friendship.
Hesitating to think, she shot back an answer confidently. "Yeah...for the most part I think I do."
"Huh...interesting." He said trying to peak her interest and ask him what he meant, and he succeeded.
"What's interesting?" Wanting to know his thoughts, undoubtedly he was pushing her buttons a bit.
"Why do you suppose the angels encourage us to be in connected to one another?" Wonder consumed his voice as he eased her closer to combat.
"I don't fight you. Don't act like you're irresistible now that's much too cavalier for even you." Cooly irritated she knew full well what he was implying.
"Then see me." Unequivocally he challenged her.
"Do not twist the faith in the angels to suit your needs. Puffery never blesses audaciousness." With a curt tone she chastised him for tempting her to compromise her stipulations for contact.
"Come now...please don't get yourself all riled up. I'm not questioning you as much as I am trying to understand the ways of the angels and how they work." His justification seemed logical and this was more interest than Clive ever displayed regarding her gift.
"If the angels feel ignored, they'd let me know." She explained calmly.
"Like how?"
Visibly becoming upset, he knew she had never gone against their will before.
"I don't know abuela said that they can get angry...that they'll give me a sign of their disappointment."
This discussion was heightening her anxiety and his line of questioning made her nervous, like maybe she wasn't handling this situation with Prince appropriately. Tears trickled down her cheeks as her breathing became erratic.
"Oh baby don't cry. I was just being inquisitive." She grabbed a tissue and dabbed her eyes.
"Shhh I wish I was in front of you right now to console you. If I was there would you let me comfort you?" Smooth was his voice, calming her a bit from the uneasiness of sentences before.
