After finalizing the photo Prince approved the final copy and Afshin left.
It was a little after 5pm and he almost ran into Valeria and Herod who were all bundled up and exiting the apartment as he was entering.
"Whoa whoa!" They all said in unison.
"Headed out?" Kissing Valeria on the cheek goodnight.
"Herod and I are going to walk up a couple of blocks to the Monte Carlo for dinner. You're welcome to join us but I know you'd probably like to..."
"Aw naw. You guys go on ahead. I think I need to wake up sleeping beauty though. Aren't you worried about her Valeria?"
"Maybe hossenfeffer is for dinner??"
"Hossenfeffer? There's that reference to rabbit again.
"Look it up." Placing a peck on his cheek now she and Herod said goodnight. Grasping his forearm she gave some simple instructions. Follow the instructions on the box of rice. Make..."

The door closed leaving Prince to wonder if Pizza Luce up the street was a better call for the evening.

He took one large feather with him, tickling his nose while double checking that the studio door was locked and setting the security.
Up onto a stool at the breakfast bar he held his cell, clicked on Google and entered "the rabbit died."
Instantly the word pregnancy almost jumped off the screen at him making his eyes pop. Looking over his shoulder toward her bedroom he smiled quickly looking back at his phone and rubbing his index finger on his bottom lip.
Over to the bedroom door he went with the feather in hand. Leaning on the door frame he simply watched her sleep.
Spinning the feather in between his thumb and index finger he watched it whirr and whispered, "Could you God..."
