It had been quite a while since we left Luka with the Betas from the other pack, while I was worried there hadn't been any shifting going on so it couldn't have been too bad. Jaxon was just finishing up some tacos that he had made for lunch when they all came down. "Everything okay?" I asked Luka. He nodded. "Well lets eat and then we can talk a bit more." Jaxon said as I helped him sit everything on the bar. Of course in true possessive fashion he had to get me my plate with the other beta being here, males I thought to myself rolling my eyes. "So Lyssa Jaxon told me that you were human?" I asked curiously. While they were talking to Luka he had told me some things about them. I had never heard about a human becoming a wolf, I was very curious. She nodded before swallowing. "I met Trey in school my Mom and I moved from Maine. I was kind of a bitch to him at first." She said a small smile on her face as she looked over at Trey. He shrugged, "I kind of deserved it. I wasn't exactly mate material." He admitted. "He sat behind me in class and pestered me until I agreed to go out on a date with him. " She said rolling her eyes with a small grin. "Anyways he finally told me about being a wolf  which was definitely kind of hard for me to grasp but I knew I had unreal feelings for him, so I believed him. We went through hell turning me I was touch and go for a bit but here I am. I cant shift like you guys but I have a wolf in my head, heightened senses and all." Lyssa explained. "That is crazy, I have never heard of a human turning wolf before." "There was only one other that we know of, but she died so we had to talk to her mate about how to change her, it was definitely worth it." Trey said. I couldn't imagine being human and learning about all of this and then suddenly having my world turned upside down, it was crazy to even think about for me. I eyed the baby in her lap, "So whats her name?" "Charlotte, but we call her Charlie. Shes technically around 3 months old but the werewolf gene causes her to grow at a higher rate so shes physically about 6 months old." Pups grew at a quicker rate than human babies for whatever reason, until they reach about ten and then they grow at a normal rate. No one really knew what caused them to grow so quick but they thought that it had something to do with weres not aging at a normal rate, once we reached 25 the growing process slowed dramatically. I hadn't really thought about having children with Jaxon before now but it was something I knew I wanted eventually. "Was it a difficult pregnancy? I mean I know that some she wolves change into their wolf for the last month or so of it." I couldn't seem to stop asking her questions. "Most of it was easy, it just got a bit uncomfortable towards the end because I wasn't able to shift. But I lost a baby before Charlie so I think just about anything would have been easy to handle." A small frown was on her face, I assumed at the memory. "I'm sorry I shouldn't be so nosey." I apologized shutting my mouth. I couldn't imagine going through that especially after having to be turned into a wolf, I felt so bad for her. "Well why don't we talk about  whats going to happen now that we've found out these two are mates." Trey said clearly trying to take the conversation off of Lyssa. I could see Luka's mood had shifted at the mention of it. "Obviously  they wont be able to have any type of physical relationship for a while but they still need to be around each other, now with the past relationship of Luka and Greyson I don't think Luka going to your pack would be a good idea." Jaxon said. "I agree, obviously Charlie cannot stay here alone so what if we could set up a visitation of sorts? We could bring her here or Lyssa could bring her here an stay for a couple days at a time. I know that its not the best solution but with Charlie being so little still there isn't a ot that we can do." Trey said looking at both Jaxon and Luka. I could tell that Luka was uncomfortable with the whole situation althought he hadn't stopped staring at the baby. "I think that would be reasonable enough, what do you say Luka?" Jaxon asked. You could almost see the wheels turning in his mind, I knew that he was upset how could he not be? But I just wanted him to be happy. I nuged him with my arm trying to get his attention. "I'm sorry what?" He ssaid seeming to be off in his own world. I explained to him what Jaxon and Trey had been talkig about. "As long as I get to see her I don't care." He responded. "Maybe we could stay a few days now?" Lyssa said. "I think that would be perfect, we'd love for you to stay right Jax?" He reluctantly agreed, "It would be nice for Abigail to make a friend." I grinned happily. "Ill have someone make you up a room."
