We arrived at the best wedding shop in the Capitol which Effie recommended so I had to trust her since this is her speciality. I felt sorry for Annie as being here may trigger memories of her and Finnick's wedding. I was surrounded by many outstanding dresses that were so beautiful but from what I see none of them really suit my personality or who I am. Effie separated herself from me, Johanna and Annie but we carried on looking around the shop, that's when the most beautiful dress caught my eye. It was a strapless, princess style dress, with diamond gems at the top and pleats at the bottom, Johanna and Annie liked it and I had to try it on especially since it is the first thing they have agreed on since we came into the shop. Once I had put on the dress, I was not too pleased by it as it did not look as pretty on and made me feel very uncomfortable, I showed Johanna and Annie who loved it but were not to happy by my disappointed reaction to the dress but they had to appreciate it. After I got back into my normal clothes, Effie came walking down the stairs and said, "Katniss, come up stairs there is something waiting for you, and I think you will be very happy with the surprise. Before you go up, I thought you may want to know that I have had this planned for a few weeks now and I will explain in just a little while." I walked up the stairs quite nervously thinking of what could be waiting for me upstairs and Effie said this has been planned for weeks and if it's a dress and I don't like it, how could I possibly say I do not like it, it will break her heart." As I reached the top of the stairs I was extremely surprised to see what is in front of me, it is totally different to what I imagined, it was not a dress and I thought this moment would never happen.
