Many things passed through Olivia Hart's mind as she drove her foster son, Dylan James, to her friends' house. She trusts him to be home alone when she travels, but this time, she thought it would be best if he stayed at a friends house.
Something told her that she should let Dylan stay at a friends house, knowing that she doesn't have to worry often. She will worry, yes, but she knew that if Dylan was left in the care of her friend, then she wouldn't worry as much.
She drove to the airport. On the way, her phone began to ring.
"What is it, Ross?" she said, answering the phone.
"Hart," Everett K. Ross, Olivia's partner, said, "where are you?"
"I'm on the way to the airport," she said. "I had to drop Dylan off at a friends house."
"Why didn't you just bring him along?" Everett asked.
"I didn't want him to miss school," she said.
"Ella is still a student but you don't see me sending her to someone's house for this," Everett said.
"Look, something tells me that I shouldn't bring him along," she said.
"Well, just get here," he said.
"I'm five minutes away," she said.
"Good," he said. "We should get on the plane soon and everything."
Olivia finally arrived at the airport and managed to find Everett Ross and his niece waiting for her.
"You finally made it," he said.
"No shit," she said. She then realized that Ella was here and quickly said, "Sorry."
"It's fine," she said. "You don't have to apologize for cursing."
Olivia nodded.
They checked in and managed to get to the place on time. Olivia and Ella ended up sitting next to each other while Everett was behind them.
"How's school?" Olivia asked Ella.
"Fine," she said.
"Which grade are you in again?" Olivia asked.
"Tenth grade," Ella responded.
"Huh, so you're a year older than Dylan," Olivia said.
"Dylan James?" Ella asked.
Olivia nodded.
"I think I've seen him around," Ella said. "He seems nice."
Olivia smiled.
"How'd you know Dylan?"
"I knew his parents," Olivia responded. "I'm not in the position to tell you what exactly happened but he was brought into my care a couple of years ago. If he trusts you well enough, then he'll tell you, but I can't tell you. If it comes from anyone, it has to come from him, not me."
"I understand," Ella said, nodding.
The plane took off and Olivia looked away from the window. One thing she hated about airplanes was seeing out of the window. It scared her for some reason. She never really had a fear of heights, but when it comes to traveling and looking out of the window, it scared her. Sitting next to the window was something she never did.
Olivia stared ahead, her mind wondering off.
"Liv," Ella said. She snapped out of her thoughts.
"Yes?" Olivia said, looking at the blonde.

After one long plane ride to Germany, they finally landed.
"Alright," Everett said, once they left the airplane and got their luggage, "we better get going. They want us to head to the interrogation."
"Who's being interrogated?" Ella asked.
"Bucky Barnes," Everett responded.
"Bucky Barnes?" Olivia repeated. "Isn't he Steve Rogers' best friend?"
"Yup," Everett said, as the three started to head out of the airport.
"What'd he do?" Olivia asked. She personally didn't believe that Bucky Barnes would do terrible when she is aware of the many good things he had done. At the same time, after knowing that he's the Winter Soldier, didn't seem that surprising.
They managed to get a taxi and head to where they needed to go.
