Klau's bionic arm was placed on a table outside the interrogation room. Inside the room, Klau was strapped to a chair.
"Hello?" he said. Klau started to laugh. "I can see you. I can see you."
"That guy is nuts," Ella said.
"You don't have to tell me twice," Olivia said.
He started making noises when T'Challa stood in front of him on the other side of the room. Okoye was standing right next to him.
"So, this is a big mess," Everett said. "I figured we could go good cop bad cop. I'll talk to him first, you guys go in-"
Everett stopped talking when Okoye started to speak to the king in Wakandan. T'Challa responded to her in Wakandan as well. Olivia and Everett stared at the two, confused. They wondered what they were saying.
"After your questioning," T'Challa finally said in English, "we will take him to Wakanda with us."
"What? No," Olivia said. "I like you, a lot, but he's in our custody. He's not going anywhere."
Olivia sensed Everett grow tense when she told T'Challa she liked him. She began to have a feeling that he might like her more than she thought she did. She glanced at Ella, wondering when the two can have some one on one talk so she can ask her these questions.
"Listen, we're doing you guys a favor by letting you guys be in here," Everett said hitting T'Challa softly on his shoulder.
Okoye looked at the spot that Everett hit than at at Everett. Judging by the looking, she wasn't too thrilled about Everett touching T'Challa.
She said something in Wakandan, but obviously, no one understood what she said besides the king.
"Does she speak English?" Everett asked once she was done speaking.
"When she wants to," Okoye responded.
"Huh," Everett said. "Olivia and I are going to go in there and when I'm done, you guys are up."
Everett and Olivia began to head into the interrogation room together when T'Challa started to speak. It caused them both to stop walking.
"Agent Ross, Agent Hart," T'Challa said.
"Yeah?" Olivia said.
"I do appreciate you guys' help," T'Challa said, placing his hand on Everett's shoulder.
"You see that?" Everett said to Okoye. "It's called diplomacy. You're welcome," he said as he entered the room.
Olivia sighed and followed him in.
"Don't hurt me," Klau sang as Everett and Olivia sat on the chairs across from him. He continued to sing even after they sat down.
Everett checked his watch as Klau continued to sing. Olivia cleared her throat. That's when Klau finished singing.
"You know, you shouldn't trust the Wakandans," Klau advised.
"I don't trust anyone really, not in this job," Everett said. "Except for my partner, but even then, I don't trust her that much."
"No wonder," Olivia said. "I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up dying alone."
Everett glanced at her, glaring.
"Anyways," Olivia said. "What we're interested in is that armed canon. How did you get it?"
"It's an old mining tool that I made adjustments to," Klau responded. "I can - I can get you guys one if you'd like."
"We're good," Olivia said.
"Give us the name of your supplier," Everett said. "And we'll ask them."
"They're right outside," Klau said. "Why don't you ask them yourselves."
Olivia looked out the window. The only people outside the room where Dylan, Ella, T'Challa and Okoye.
"You mean T'Challa?" Olivia asked.
"You're telling us that weapon on your arm is from Wakanda?" Everett asked.
"Bingo," he said, making a clicking noise. "Do you actually know Wakanda?"
"Shepards, textiles, cool outfits," Everett listed.
"t's all a front. Explorers searched for it for centuries. El Dorado, the Golden City. They thought they could find it in South America... but it was in Africa the whole time. A technological marvel. All because it was built on a mound of the most valuable metal known to man. Isipho, they call it. The gift. Vibranium," Klau said.
"Vibranium, yeah," Everett said. "Strongest metal on Earth."
"It's not just a metal. They sew it into their clothes. It powers their city, their tech... their weapons," Klau said.
"Weapons?" Olivia repeated. "Yeah, right!"
"Yeah. Makes my arm cannon look like a leaf blower," Klau said.
"That's a nice fairytale, but Wakanda is a third world country," Everett reminded him. "And you stole all of their Vibranium."
Klau began to laugh. "I stole all of it?" he repeated. He continued to laugh. Olivia looked at Everett confused.
Klau suddenly said something that Olivia couldn't understand. It caused both her and Everett to lean back on their chairs. Everett put his arm around her chair.
"I took a piece of it," Klau said. "They have a mountain full of it. They've been mining it for thousands of years... and they still haven't scratched the surface. I'm the only outsider who's seen it and got out of there alive. If you don't believe me, you ask your friend what his suit is made of. What his claws are made of."
Olivia and Everett left the room.
"Your father told the UN... that Klaue stole all the vibranium you had," Olivia said. "But now he's telling us you have more."
"And you believe the word of an arms dealer strapped to a chair?" T'Challa asked.
"How much more are you hiding?" Everett questioned.
Before T'Challa could respond, Nakia entered the room. She began speaking, in Wakandan, but before she could continue, there was an explosion. Klau began yelling. A man with a mask on began shooting. Everett ran to Nakia and yelled, "Get down!"
Olivia ran to Dylan and Ella and moved them out of the way. Olivia looked up to see T'Challa in his Black Panther suit and Okoye ready to fight. The man in the mask threw a small ball.
"Oh, God," Olivia said. T'Challa jumped onto the ball and it exploded under the king but he didn't get hurt at all. T'Challa began running after Klau, the man in the mask and everyone aiding them, while the others stayed behind.
"Uncle Everett!" Ella called to her uncle. She rushed to her uncle.
"Oh, God, no," Olivia whispered when she saw what had happened to her partner. He has been shot.
Okoye had gone after T'Challa to bring him back.
"He just jumped in front of me," Nakia said.
Everett breathing was labored. He grunted.
"I don't think he'll make it here. It hit his spine," Okoye said.
"Give me a Kimoyo Bead," T'Challa said. Nakia gave him one and he placed it where the bullet it. "This will stabilize him for now."
Everett grunted softly. He exhaled deeply.
"Will he be okay?" Olivia asked.
"Give him to us," T'Challa said. "We can save him."
"What?" Dylan asked. "How? You don't have the re-"
He stopped when he met Olivia's gaze.
