Olivia was glad to be home. The weekend was pretty crazy and being able to come home with Dylan. it was a nice way to end it.

Olivia took a deep breath as she entered her bedroom with her belongings. She began to unpack her things.

After she was done with that, she went to the living room to see where Dylan is at.

"Dylan!" she called.

"Yeah?" he called back.

"Are you in your room?" she asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"I'm going to go get pizza for lunch," she said.

"Okay!"

"Do you want anything specific?"

"Pepperoni pizza! And buffalo wings!"

"Alright! See you in a bit!"

"Okay! Bye!"

"Bye!"

Olivia walked to the door and opened it. Everett stood at the apartment door, ready to knock on the door. Ella was standing right next to him.

"Hey," Olivia said.

"Hi," Everett said. "I would've called but -"

"It's fine," she quickly assured him. "I was just heading to get pizza."

"Oh, um," Everett said. "Ella can stay with Dylan and I can come with you."

"Ella?"

"I'm fine with it," Ella shrugged.

Olivia was hesitant about leaving them two all, but she didn't have time to think about it. She knows the kids well enough that they wouldn't do anything.

On the way to get pizza, for some odd reason, Olivia felt nervous. Maybe because it's been a couple of days since they were last alone and her feelings for him are coming back to her.

The car drive was silent. Neither one of them spoke to each other. It was killing Olivia inside. She wanted to say something but she didn't. She was afraid.

Eventually, they arrived and they placed their order. They sat at a table and waited.

"We need to talk," Everett said.

"Okay," she said.

Olivia was able to tell easily that he's serious. She could tell that there's so much on his mind that he wants to reveal to her.

"There have been so much on my mind," he said. "And... I just feel like I have to be honest with you."

Olivia's heart began to beat quickly. She wants to know what it is, but she's not going to lie, a part of her, a big part of her, is scared.

"Yeah?"

"I can't.... I can't be friends with you," he said, not looking at her.

Right at that moment, Olivia felt her heart shatter. She hid her emotions, like she always did.

"I can't be friends with you if I can't be with you," he said.

"What?"

"I'm...." Everett looked up at her, "I.... I lo - I'm in love with you."

Olivia didn't know how to react to this. Even though she has feelings for him,  she still has no idea to react to this.

"Not surprised," Everett sighed. "I should've not said anything."

"Everett, I, uh, I -"

"You don't have to say anything," Everett said. "I just thought I should tell you, but..."

"Everett, listen to me," Olivia said. "I love you too."

Everett looked at her in surprise.

"You do?"

"Yes, but..."

"Knew it," Everett said.

"But what about the kids?" Olivia said. "If you hadn't notice, they like each other. Imagine if we got together and they got together?"

"Oh.... right," Everett said.

"Yeah, that's the problem," Olivia said.

There were a few minutes of silence.

"What do we do now?" Olivia said.

"Um, I don't know," Everett said. "We'll figure something out, I know we will. We always figured cases out. This isn't anything different."

"Yeah, you're right," Olivia said.
