Olivia found it that it's time to end any relationship she has with her parents. She's had it with the way they've been treating her for years. It's clear how they feel towards her and how they feel towards her siblings.

On her way home from the UN meeting, her phone started to ring. It was her brother, Jack.

"What is it, Jack?" Olivia answered the phone.

"Why did Mom and Dad tell me you're kicking them out of your house?" Jack asked.

"I've had it up to here with them," Olivia responded. "And please, stay out of it. It's really none of your concern."

"It is my concern, Liv," Jack said. "You're my sister and they're my parents."

"Yeah, they're your parents," Olivia agreed. "They're more of your parents then mines."

"What do you mean they're more of my parents then yours?"

"Gee, I don't know," Olivia said. "You have no idea what's going on is clear how oblivious you've been my entire life."

"Liv -" Jack started.

"Don't call me Liv," Olivia interrupted. "You are in no position to call me Liv."

"Olivia, whatever you're thinking of doing, don't do it," Jack said. "You'll ruin every chance you have to have a great relationship with Mom and Dad."

"Don't you think I've tried to have a great relationship with them? I'm done, Jack!" Olivia said in frustration. "I'm burning my bridges with them. Don't and try to convince me otherwise, Jack."

Olivia hung up.

A few minutes later, Chloe called her. Olivia had the exact same conversation with Chloe as she did with Jack. She ended the conversation the same way she ended her conversation with Jack.

"It seems like you're cutting your family out of your life," Everett said.

"I am," Olivia said.

"Are you sure it's a good idea?" Everett asked.

"Yes, I'm sure," Olivia said. "If you're going to convince me to do otherwise, it won't work."

"I wasn't going to."

"Good."

Everett and Olivia entered Olivia's apartment.

"I was fully expecting my parents to still be here," Olivia said.

"Yeah, me too," Everett agreed.

"Thank God they're gone," Olivia relieved.

"It really seems you burned your bridges with your parents," Everett said.

"I really did," Olivia said. "And, surprisingly, I feel like a large amount of weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Which is relieving."

A moment of silence between Olivia and Everett.

"Wow, I never thought this day would come," Olivia said, stunned. "I didn't think I had this amount of courage."

"How do you feel now?" Everett asked.

"I have no idea, I just know I'm relieved," Olivia said.

Everett extended his arm and put his arm around Olivia. He pulled her closer and kissed the side of her head.

"Everything... everything will be alright," Olivia said.

Olivia was mainly assuring herself rather than assuring herself and Everett.

"Yeah, it'll be alright," Everett said.

"Where's Ella?" Olivia asked.

"She's out with her friends," Everett said.

"So, you're free tonight?" Olivia looked up at Everett.

"Yes. What do you have in mind?"

"Do you want to go out for dinner?"

"Where?"

"Your pick."

"Um, are you fine with Italian?" Everett asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine with it," Olivia said.

"Come on, let's go."
