It's the day of the Pagònia festivity, to celebrate the goddess of Ice, from who the celebration takes its name. Jungkook is feeling really uncomfortable, starting from a week or so to be honest. The palace became cold taken the presence of so many Ice controllers, the temperatures decreased immensely, and the boy doesn't even know if Jimin is sticking to him because he's warm or what, but he is, and this behavior is attracting everyone's eyes and all the unwanted attention of the nobles of Stoicheion, because now they not only suspect about them having a relationship, theyknowtheyhave, and Jimin is doing nothing to conceal it in front of everyone.
It's the after party of the celebration, so everyone gathered at the castle, no one is talking to Jungkook unless is Jimin to present them, because the guests are either too picky to interact with an Eros with poor backgrounds, or too scared to do or say something to him that might upset the Prince, they know what he said he would do to the first one who dares badmouth or mistreat his lover.
Jimin is wearing an all white outfit with bits of light blue on the sleeves and on the little flowers on the ascot tie. The white parts have glitters on them, so every time he moves he looks like a snow flake fluttering inside the huge party room, and when he walks by he smells of delicious lilies, the perfume is gentle and not as sweet as it often is, it just graces the nose.
Jimin wanted Jungkook to be as elegant as possible, because he knew that everyone's attention would be either on him, or him and Jungkook, so he choose this serious white suit that looks a bit like a military general's uniform, he also made sure his hair were perfectly slicked back, except for those few strands of hair 'casually' let on his forehead, he even gifted him new earrings, one little silver star and a longer earring with a white pearl dangling at the bottom. When Jungkook saw himself in the mirror he thought that everyone would clearly tell Jimin styled him head to toe, and yet he didn't mind at all, Jimin's taste is great and surely he knows more than the Master how to dress up for a big event.
Jimin went on and presented him to every important personality present, the Prince would like for Jungkook to make influential friends, so that he can be safer if he has his back covered by them, but even though they all generally showed gentle attitudes towards them, Jungkook knows they dislike him for who he is, how and where he grew and his actual position as a lover nowdays. Everyone looks down on him, and it hurts.
Jimin whispers things and names in his ear from time to time, but the elder is not paying attention at all, it's giving him sickening headaches being inside that room, all the voices, the music, the smell of food and not even Jimin's presence is helping at all.
The Prince gives the other a doubtful glance, he's being strange since morning, he seems so out of his character. He nudges at his side, drawing the elder's attention back on him as they're still arm in arm. Jimin has been waiting for him to ask him if he wanted to dance, but he seems to be so down.. Though Jimin really wanted to dance a little,but with Jungkook, so he politely refused every other offer he's been proposed
