Many of us go through things and we think " Will I always go through bad things?" the answer is we all take on different test and battles. Sure some people look at others battles and say that's nothing. What seems excessive battles to one is a pebble of a battle for others. Who knows what battles each of us has been through. We should be accepting of the differences in each other and lend a helping hand. In today's world, we are confronted with all kinds of threats may they be self-inflicted or socially inflicted.
One thing I have noticed lately is that there are some who would risk there lives to save others. No one is immune to an internal battle that leaks into reality. Some of us take our battles on with the help of others. Some of us are fighting the battle by ourselves but we help others fight there's. We all should help those we can even if it is just to listen to there problems.The tragic events as of late should be a wake-up call for everyone. We should listen to the cries of the suffering and offer understanding and help. My heart goes out to those affected by the school shootings. No parent, friend or teacher should be lost to such things as a school shooting because we refused to listen to the cries of those in despair.
My goal with this book is to help spread awareness of the struggles we keep hidden. Not everyone is going to agree with me but I hope that with writing this book I can help many people recognize the signs and help those in need.
