'OH, MY KAMI' I finally did it after years of trying to get the courage I've finally done it I told my Dad he was my Dad I really didn't think this through  I told myself I would leave after because I don't want to be a burden I need to get going.

" That's all I wanted to tell you Hokage-Sama, tou- erm Kakashi I need to get going soon" I was about to leave when the Hokages voice stopped me 'Did I really think I was just going to leave I'm so stupid'

"What do you mean leave? your father is right here in this village why do you want to go child." I swallowed a lump in my throat, fighting back tears threatening to spill I took a couple of deep breaths trying to calm myself knowing fully I can't show emotion. I turn back to the Hokage to answer his question but Kakashi was right in front of me I couldn't hide my surprise. He then reached out to me and patted my head.

"I get it, you don't want to burden me all of the sudden but in truth, I shoulda been there with you while growing up and you wouldn't be burdening anyone but yourself. So it's up to you do you want to leave or stay?" he asked in the softest tone I got a warm feeling inside and I knew instantly that I wanted to stay with him and be a real family.

"I want to stay with you here" I was blushing furiously and it was one of those moments I was glad I had a mask on. He chuckled at me which caused me to glare at him 'I suppose staying won't kill me leaving would' I smiled underneath the mask truly happy since Mama. The Hokage grinned and coughed to get our attention I was blushing again.

"Since you decided to stay and you're clearly a ninja I will enroll you in the academy with the graduating class ran by Iruka Umino" I bowed and said my thank yous to the Hokage and I said bye to everyone and me and tou-san began walking home. We soon got to the Hatake clan compound and Kakashi erm tou-san let us in I took in everything 'this is my new home' and I looked back at tou-san and smiled at him. Then my stomach growled and ruined the moment tou-san just chuckled.

"So you're hungry why didn't you say something" he cooed I blushed for the third time today. Then he looked in the fridge and nothing was there he sighed, but I was already halfway out the door "Don't worry Papa I'll go out to get groceries I'll be back soon." this time it was Kakashi's time to blush.

Kakashi

'Papa' he thought blushing she could barely call him tou-san earlier in the Hokage's office. He liked it though, he finally had family 'Haruko Hatake, Spring Child in the Farmland, beautiful'

I made it to the grocery store just down the street from the compound, I'm getting the ingredients to make broiled saury with miso soup and eggplant I also got food for the next couple of months. I was reaching for the salt when I saw another hand going for the same thing I retracted my hand and looked at who was reaching for it. It was a boy who looked like a young version of Shikaku. I blushed 'I really need to get a hold of my emotions'

Shikamaru

I was reaching for the salt when I noticed someone else was reaching for it too they retracted their hand and looked at me. I looked at her back a blush creeping onto my face I finally broke the silence with my trademark saying

"What a drag, how troublesome." she chuckled at me which made me blush even more she was beautiful, even though I couldn't see half her face I could just tell she was stunning then again we entered awkward silence.

"I'm Haruko Hatake it's nice to meet you" 'Haruko that's her name huh'

"I'm Shikamaru Nara it's nice to meet you too"

Haruko

"I'm Shikamaru Nara it's nice to meet you too" I was definitely as red as a tomato 'Shikamaru I'll call him Shika'

"I better be going to check out I'll see you around Shika," I said and I grabbed a different salt and went towards the front but before I left I heard "What a drag Mom will be angry I'm late" I giggled 'wow when do I ever giggle something is seriously wrong with me today' after checking out I head home, Papa said he'll cook so I went upstairs to unpack after unpacking I changed to my casual clothes (a/n the first pictures on Information chapter) which was black leggings with a purple sweater under a pink cover with short sleeves cuts on shoulders and slits going up to my hips paired with heel ninja sandals and no mask.

"Haruko food's ready come down to eat" Papa called I go to the dining room to smell the broiled saury with miso soup and eggplant which had always been my favorite. I saw Papa already sitting down so I sat across from him when he saw me he was surprised.

"why so surprised to see me?" I teased he was just staring at me I was beginning to get uncomfortable. He smirked noticing I was uneasy

"Oh nothing I'm just thinking about how cute of a daughter I have," he said with a closed-eyed smile I was blushing but this time he could see so his smirk grew bigger and he teased and cooed at me more. We finished dinner and I decided since I didn't make dinner I'd wash the dishes. After I finished I went up to my room changed into my pajamas and went to bed. 'Tomorrow I start at the academy I hope Shika's there'
