KAKA-BAKA'S Daughter!!!!!

It's been two days since then, Kin and I are working on a puppet for me to use during the exams, puppet jutsu interests me. 'I should also get a fan like the sand shinobi' I mentally note to get one, I haven't seen Papa since he's training with Sasu-nii. I get dressed in my ninja gear and go to wake Kin, today were leaving to the cloud village on my way there I see Shika and Shino together 'that's something you don't see everyday' I think giggling.

"Oi! Shino-san! Shika-kun!" I say waving them over "Ohayo! Are you ready for our the mission?" I asked smiling, they both just nod their heads " good I'm picking up Kin right now." I say motioning them to follow, when we get there I unlock the door with my key, Kin insists I have one, and I go to her bedroom.

"SENPAI!!!" Kin yelled as I entered the room, I jump up in fear.

"Ohayo Kin, I see you're already up." I say softly smiling

"Yup, lets hit the road Senpai" she says throwing me out her room, we get to the living room where Shika and Shino are waiting.

"Kin, this is Shikamaru Nara and this is-" I said motioning to Shino "Shino Aburame this is my team" I say and Kin has a devious grin 'oh no'

"You're from the Aburame clan fascinating, you'd make an interesting specimen" she said creepily and I thought of something devious too.

"We should hit the road, Kin will be in the middle, I in front, Shino on Kin's left, and Shika on her right" I say with finality they all nod and we go to the village gates. I slip on a mask concealing my whole face it's a faux ANBU mask so people don't mess with us. We run for hours, were already two-thirds of the way there, so we decide to rest for the night and resume in the morning. Before we set up camp, I make sure no ones around and then I make simple barriers.

"Shino I want you to take, first watch of Kin whenever you feel tired get me and I'll be the second shift, that means you're the third shift Shika" I order, me and Shika set out futons next to each other and lie down. Once Shika falls asleep I slip out of my futon and sneak up on Shino and Kin 'I bet she has a crush on him' I think laughing maniacally in my brain.

"So Aburame-" Kin started

"Shino." He said bluntly, Kin smiled softly

"Shino, so since you're going to be keeping me company let's get to know more about each other." Kin said playfully

"What do you have in mind?" Shino said emotionlessly. Kin suddenly tried stabbing him in his face, but he quickly dodged and pinned her down in a suggestive way.

"Quick on your toes, very interesting indeed." Kin muttered to herself underneath him "are you secretly a perv Shino-san? You still haven't gotten up ya know." Kin said smirking and Shino blushed getting up.

"Gomen, Kin-san" he said pulling up his collar, she just giggled at him.

"Don't worry about the honorifics, Shino-kun!" She said smiling cutely and now I notice her cheeks have a little pink tint. They both blush and look away, then they decide to play 20 questions. 'They're adorable together' I think walking away and when I get back to my futon Shika is awake.

"What a drag. Why are you not asleep Haruko?" Shika said rubbing his eyes, I yawn before answering.

"I was spying on Kin and Shino, they'd make a cute couple" I whisper plopping down on my futon.

"Was that it? I got worried." He said concern laced in his voice, I blushed and I was sure my face was all red.

"That was it Shika, gomen for making you worried." I whisper scooting my futon closer to him our faces practically touched, he pulled me into his chest and we fell into a deep sleep.

*DREAM*

I was walking around in the same farm, I see the scarecrows with flowers again, I immediately run to the bench where I saw grandpa Sakumo. He was there waiting 'is he waiting for me?' I think sitting on his side, I was excited to tell him everything.

"Haruko, my darling! How've the Chunin Exams been treating you" he greets with a smile.

"Well I'm on to the third part, I made it all the way, I've also made a friend" I said grinning ear to ear I tell him all about Kin and every funny moment that has happened.

"This Kin girl, she's spunky I think I would've liked her" he says chuckling, I instantly frown.

"Don't talk like that. I don't like it when you use past tense" I say clenching my fists, tears welling up, he grabs my chin and wipes my tears away.

"I know darling, but we can't pretend it didn't happen I regret not being here for you or Kakashi this is the only way I can still be in your life." He says and the tears slide down and I hug him tightly.

"I know, and I'm grateful I think Kin would've liked you too" I say giving a watery smile.

"That's the spirit, I'm sorry I've made you and your father endure so much" he said looking at the ground and I stand up and go on my tippy toes because I'm really short. I reach his chin and make him look at me.

"Listen, I don't blame you there are times I've wanted to give up to. I think Papa will understand when the time is right, but he needs closure and the only one who can provide him with that is you." I say giving him a mean pout face. He chuckles and ruffles my hair lovingly.

"That's a lie Haruko" he says smiling and a look of disbelief crosses my face "you provide that closure too, your father is blessed to have such a wonderful daughter" he said smiling widely and I look up at him dazedly "and I'm lucky to have a granddaughter I never thought Kakashi would reproduce" he said coughing the last part and everything started to fade. I held onto him like last time not wanting to let go, he kissed my forehead and I knew it was time to let go.

"Till next time... Grandpa" I said before fading away completely.
