I woke up in my bed at Asuma-oji's, I went to the kitchen and prepared myself some cereal then I saw the note on the table.
Haruko, I went out with Kurenai today I would have woken you up, but you looked really tired. Kakashi is training Sasuke in the mountains so you'll be staying with me or the Nara's for the next three months. He said that you could join them if you want, I'm pretty sure you can find them yourself , but they're at Mt.Fugiyawa. Love you ~Asuma-Oji
I smiled at the note and set it back down eating my breakfast "I love you too Oji" I whispered to no one, everyone was busy training, but me I decided to take a break for a week then resume training. I went to the Hokage's office to find out where Kin lived and to see if her transfer would be smooth I was wearing my casual clothes so there were a lot of stares. Once I got there I did a special knock so gramps would know that it's me, we came up with it for no reason.
"Come in Haruko" Gramps chuckled, I peeped before walking in and I waved at gramps.
"Good morning, Gramps" I said close-eye smiling even though my mask is off its a habit.
"Good morning, what may I do for my favorite child?" He says lightly
"Don't tell Konohamaru," I say jokingly "I just wanted to know where Kin lives." I said my face gracing a smile.
"Ah that's right, this is her address" he said handing me a slip of paper "I also want you and a team to go to the hidden cloud and gather her things, you may choose the team"
"When will we leave? I want my team to be Shikamaru Nara and Shino Aburame." I said seriously.
"You will leave in two days, I will notify those two of the pop-up mission." He says "now go go, see Kin you don't want to talk to an old man forever" he jokes.
"Thanks Gramps," I say leaving I walk to Kin's apartment complex and they're beautiful I go to her apartment and knock on the dark-washed oak 'nice taste gramps' I think,envious of the place. A tired Kin answers the door rubbing her eyes cutely, when she sees me she rushes me in her place.
"Senpai! What do I owe this early visit?" She said smiling making tea.
"Nothing, I wanted to make sure you were alright, I also have something to tell you"
"Your the best Senpai! What do you need to tell me?" She said setting down the tea.
"My team and I will be escorting you, to the Cloud to gather your personal belongings" I say sipping my tea, her mood goes down a little, but not that much. "I will make sure no one lays a finger on you, and my team will do there best to move quickly" I say reassuringly and she becomes happy again.
"Arigato Senpai! I don't have that much stuff except a photo album and my lab" she said happily.
"Hurry and get dressed." I say with a smile.
"Ok Senpai!" She says racing to get in the shower, 30 minutes later she's in the same outfit as our fight. We walk out of her apartment, lock it and hit the road she hums and bounces around making me smile."Where are we going Senpai?" She asks realizing she never asked.
"Well, we're going on a little shopping date, I'm not training so I'm taking you shopping for your new house" I say smiling brightly at her.
"Senpai! You're amazing" she says hugging me, we enter a clothing store and she immeadiately goes to this Lolita dress it's really cute she goes to try it on.

When she comes out I see that her blonde hair is cutely braided into two, her hair is long so it almost goes to the floor. She spins and does a couple of poses we laugh and people start to stare weirdly.
"Is this the one?" I ask, she nods vigorously and goes back to take it off. I pay for it and she puts it back on immediately, it looks cute on her. Next we go to decorating store and we get some navy blue paint, and a white and navy blue bed spread. We go back to her house to drop everything off and we head to a dango shop, we get seated and let out a sigh.
"Hello, how are you two doing?" The waitress asks.
"We're doing great thank you, and you?" I ask politely
"I'm doing fine, what will you have today?" She says getting out her notepad.
"Two green teas and 20 sticks of dango" I say with a close-eyed smile, getting over initial shock the waitress bowed and went to put in our order.
"Who are you fighting Senpai?" Kin asks
"Since there isn't enough contestants I will be fighting two people. One of my opponents is Temari no Sabaku and my other one is Shikamaru Nara it'll be a three way fight" I say sadly, Kin notices and smirks.
"This Shikamaru guy, is he your boyfriend?" She asks smirking, my face heats up and I start denying.
"Me and Shika-"
"That's a cute pet name."
"It's not a pet name were just friends, close friends" I finish, Kin smirks knowingly "If you fall in love you'll only get hurt" I said sadly it's true look at Papa and Mama he fell in love with her and she wasn't who he thought she was.
"You can't say that if you've never fallen in love Senpai" Kin says softly, our conversation was paused because the waiter brought our tea and dango.
"I think I have" I say quietly, but she hears me.
"How does he make you feel?" She says smiling taking a bite of dango.
"When we're together I never want to be apart, I always want to hang out with him. There's a feeling of warmth, I know he'll always be there for me no matter what, he just makes me happy." I say thinking of the time I've spent with Shika.
"You're in love Senpai." Kin says smiling widely, I blush and realize it for the first time 'I'm in love with my best friend, Shikamaru Nara' I think and it hurts, it hurts thinking he might not like me back that he will disappear 'I can never tell him, because love only hurts.'
