I was running to find Sasuke he left the village and was heading in Naruto's direction. I was with uncle Gai, but I ran ahead of him. 'Idiot why would you do this?' I thought wiping away tears.
*Flashback* The next few days went well, I hung out with Shika and visited Sasuke. Until I got called in by the elders. As I was walking to the office I thought about what they might want. 'Did I do something....well I can't remember' I thought shrugging. I knock on the oak doors and hear hushed voices from behind . I walk in and the elders all look serious about something 'what their problem?'
"Haruko, Sasuke Uchiha has left to look for Itachi Uchiha" Danzō said seriously and my eyes widened.
"Has he defected from the village?" I asked and he shook his head no. 'Thank god,' I thought relief flooding my body. "Then what exactly happened" I asked annoyed 'I thought he left for good'
"Itachi Uchiha and Akatsuki member Kisame Hoshigaki were in the village" he said glaring. "They ran into Kurenai, Asuma, and Kakashi-" he said and I interrupted.
"Any injuries?" I ask hoping everyone was alright.
"Yes, your father is in the hospital a genjutsu he was placed under fried his brain." Danzō said and a lump caught in my throat. "He'll survive," he reassured me and I glared 'what an asshole.' "Anyway, Sasuke heard his brother was in town and ran after him." He said dismissively and I glared at him even more.
"We believe Itachi is going after the Kyuubi host, we want you and Might Gai to track Sasuke and bring him back. Don't worry about the Kyuubi he's with Jiraiya so he should be alright." Another elder said and I nodded heading out with Gai.
*End of Flashback*
Gai and I came in through the hotel window, I saw Sasuke get blasted back by 'Itachi!' I cover my mouth in horror, but I quickly pull myself together. I flash in front of Itachi blocking his next attack with my kunai.
"Haruko," he aknowledges and I nod back "you've grown up and I expect your better now." He comments and I push him back turning in my Sharingan.
"It's been a long time," I say running to him.

I was seven years old it was the winter time and mama made me work harder than ever. I was out in the cold training when mom came out to see me with a man. He had long black hair, dark grey eyes, and stress lines under his eyes.
"Haruko this is my friend, Itachi Uchiha" she introduced and I went into cruise control.
"Itachi Uchiha, prodigy, former ANBU captain, rogue from the leaf, massacred clan, except for younger brother Sasuke Uchiha. Associated with a criminal organization called the Akatsuki who's current members are Pain, Konan, Sasori of the Red Sand, and Kakuzu." I say mechanically and he looks shocked.
