A Child With a Credit Card's Dream

I think that the theme of this article is to show that "Amazon is expanding beyond online". So the denotation of these words would be Amazon; the brand name of a retail website, launched in 1995, that has expanded to include cloud computing and other services. Expanding; to express in fuller form or greater detail; develop. Beyond; outside the understanding, limits, or reach of; past. And online; with or through a computer, especially over a network. These words all mean something akin to doing something new, the expansion of human knowledge, and our technology. The author portrays a tone of disbelief and almost reads a bit mockingly. I heard the disbelief in the quotes from people who have been inside the new store. They sound amazed and kinda relieved. This store is basically the one thing everyone universally wants. To go into a store and take what you want without having to talk to anyone. The Amazon grocery store is an introverts dream come true. When Amazon came out with the one-click buy function a little over a year ago everyone went crazy and now that they have this store you don't even have to click anything. You just have to have an app open on your phone. The people behind Amazon are basically the new Thomas Edisons or Leonardo Da Vincis but without as much fame or recognition. To oppose my previous opinions I have to say that this is a bit scary that is is our newest technology. It's amazing yes, but it scares me a little to think that if we keep moving in this direction that we(super advanced humans) might become like the ones in WALL-E. I think that most of the humans in the future will be a bit fitter than the animated one in the movie but we will be on the same wavelength of laziness.
