Summary: Chloe is in the Internationals team and performed with them and never left. Daniel is friends with everyone after helping them at Internationals.
~~~~~~~
West had been acting weird lately. As in, the past month or so.
It had been three years since he and Chloe had gotten together, and he had never acted this way before.
It started at internationals.
They had just won, and ran off stage, and that's where it all started.
~Flashback~
"That was amazing!" Giselle squealed as the team jumped around like lunatics.
The adrenaline was running high, which was to be expected, considering they just found out they were the best dance team in the world.
"I'm so happy!" Chloe exclaimed, running up to West and hugging him tightly.
Her aura of excitement was tainted slightly when West just slowly patted her on the back, and proceeded to quickly move away. She tried to look him dead in the eyes, but he simply avoided her gaze, an ingenuine tight-lipped smile adorning his features, which was very unusual for West.
"Uh yeah, it's great. I gotta go," He quickly scrambled out of the room, his costume and dance shoes still on.
Chloe tried to not feel too upset, and she was so caught up in it that she didn't notice Eldon and James quietly slip out of the room.
She tried to calm down. Maybe he was just having a bad day?
But they just won internationals! It made no sense.
Whatever. Chloe would think about it later – now was the time to celebrate!
~Flashback Over~
She thought maybe it was a one-time thing. Sometimes things just happened.
But then it happened again.
This time before their date.
They had had plenty before, but this wasn't just any normal date.
~Flashback~
Chloe checked the time on her wrist yet again.
7:30, it showed.
The ballerina willed herself not to cry, her mascara would be ruined and then the rest of her makeup that she had spent an hour painstakingly applying.
All for a date that West was supposed to pick her up for at 6.
It was supposed to be the first time since Internationals that they could properly hang out as a couple (all of the interviews and drama had meant there hadn't been a lot of alone time, for anyone on the troupe).
She thought maybe they could catch up... if only her boyfriend had bothered to show up.
Now she felt slightly angry, looking at all 12 of the unread texts she had sent him.
