Chapter 7

We arrived at Ainova after 4 hours. The breeze of the Ainovian air welcomed me as I got out of our plane.

We rode a limo with a clear window. Mom said the window is not tinted so that the people of Ainova could see me. Paul also told me that it's safe because the windows and the whole car itself is bulletproof.

The car ride was cool because the people of Ainova are all waving at me. I can see how happy they are to see me.

"They missed you honey" mom said as she noticed my shocked and amazed face

"I reckon"

The airport is only 15 minutes away from the Palace so it didn't took that long for us to reach our humble home.

When I entered the main door, all of the employees are lined and they said "Welcome back Princess Diana" in unison.

And well my dad is sitting on his throne smiling at us.

"My baby's back!" he said as he stood up and hugged me

"Dad!" I greeted hugging him back

"Are you hungry?" he said

"I'm starving!" I complained

"Okay guys you heard that. make my daughter a snack!" dad said and the culinary people retreated to the royal kitchen. Oh.

"Okay let's talk about the grand ball on the living room!" Mom said

There's an Annual Ainovian Summer Ball and I hadn't attended it for FOUR YEARS STRAIGHT. I stayed in England for four years because of college. That's why my mom is excited for me. It feels like it's my first day of school over and over again.

"Okay honey. These are the designs of the gowns that you might want to wear." Mom said as she piled up the papers in front of me.

I am impressed by the designs of these gowns. It will be so hard for me to pick the one that I'd wear for that ball. I can't decide!

"Need help sweetie?" Mom offered

"Yes please!"

Who knew picking up a gown for that ball would be hard

"Excuse me I'll leave you two here. I have a meeting. see you later girls." Dad said and he left without another word

"Mom, should I bring a date to the ball?" I asked as we still look over the designs

"It's optional honey. Why'd you ask?"

"I was just wondering!"

"Do you want to invite your boyfriend?" my mom teasingly asked me

I opened my mouth so big that a cat might fit in it. I am speechless.

"What? Don't you have one?" my mom asked laughing at me

I never thought I'd have this type of conversation with my mom. Never in a million years.

"Well, I don't have a boyfriend. But I went out on a date with Zayn twice" I explained

"Well you could invite him to come" mom said

That would be good but if there's someone that I'll invite here in the Palace it's Harry.

"Actually, I've always wanted Harry to come over here. because I'm always at their house and he's never been here."

"Well you could invite anyone you want honey"

DID MY MOM JUST SAID THAT?!

"Thank you mom!" I said hugging her.

"No problem honey! You could call them after you pick a gown!" mom said

Oh right the gown. Since all of them are very pretty, I just did the drop-the-ball pen game. The ball pen dropped on a very elegant looking black gown. The ball pen did a great job!

After eating the snack that the culinary people prepared for me, I went straight to my room and called Zayn, Harry and Mandy.

"Hello?" Zayn was the first one to pick up

"What's up" Harry answered

"Hey?" Molly was the last one

"Hi guys! I have great news!"

"What is it?!" they asked in unison

"I am inviting you guys here in the Palace!"

"OH MY GOODNESS! WHEN?" I can hear the excitement behind Mandy's voice.

"Next week! bring the best gown that you'd wear mandy. and boys, bring the nicest tux you've got! You'll attend the Ainovian Summer Ball!"

"Okay. I'll see you guys then!" Zayn said

"My bodyguards will accompany you guys!" I said before hanging up.

Well it's been a long long day. I think I should rest
