Aria's POV
Song suggestion: Secret - Zara Larsson

Saturdays were for shopping. The new Gucci spring collection was calling my name. If there is one thing I enjoyed more than lying in bed with pizza and Netflix, it was shopping. Lucky for me, my friends couldn't agree more.

My three best friends from school, Myra, Sierra and Lisa planned a girls day out at the new mall that had opened near by. We decided to treat ourselves before the tiring week of exams ahead.

Whoever decided to force upon exams on students in the glorious month of June was out of their mind. I put on a pair of distressed denim shorts and a lacy white tank top I'd picked up from Zara last week. I threw on some strappy heels that laced all the way up, stopping just under my knee.

I got into the waiting car. For once, the driver was not busy and my parents were home. I picked up the rest of the girls on the way. As Myra kept us entertained with her boyfriend drama, we reached the mall before we knew it.

The atmosphere there always perked me up without fail. The clothes, the shoes and the scent of newly launched perfumes being spritzed  around. We got our selves drinks from Starbucks and headed up to to the Gucci store. Their new line was all over instagram and we couldn't wait to get our hands on it.

As I was trying on a jacket , my mind drifted off to Ryan. I'd been avoiding thinking about him all week and he had gone back to pretending I didn't exist. It was just him and his locked room. Our conversation in the car had baffled me. It wasn't like I was ready to get into anything anytime soon, I told myself as I stepped out carrying a bunch of clothes.

"Lisa uh no. Not your colour", I told her as she showed off a nude pink body con dress.

"Here try this on.", I handed her over an olive coloured body suit.

We wandered around the mall for the rest of the afternoon, window shopping and picking up items at different stores.

"Oh my god you won't believe who I just saw in h&m's dressing room.", Myra came running suddenly. Her face looked like it was about to burst and her eyes were as big as saucers.

"You look like a tomato. And who ?", Sierra said laughing.

"Aisha.", she said and suddenly all three of them turned to face me. Aisha was my ex's new girlfriend. I'd learnt to grow at peace with it but it didn't change the fact that she'd been one of the many reasons I had spent days locked up in my room crying my heart out to Ed Sheeran's songs.

"Aisha ? Shaun's new hoe ? She's here like right now ?", Lisa asked cocking her eyebrow.

"Did you not hear me ? Yes she is and she's carrying the ugliest skirt I've ever seen, to try on.", Myra said, scrunching her petite nose. I couldn't help but laugh.

This, I had to see and the girls wouldn't miss it. We walked into h&m and hid behind two mannequins beside the dressing rooms.

"I do have some left over green tea frappe from my drink. I could dump it on her if you like", Lisa asked hopefully. There was no doubt she'd do it too. She'd always been the dare devil type.

"Don't be childish Lisa", I said with a giggle. As hilarious as that would be, it would get us into trouble.

We all stopped our whispering once we caught sight of her stepping out. Was Shaun here too ? He had started dressing like a gay dude so I wouldn't be surprised if he was attracted to all the pink in the ladies section.

We heard her phone ring as she was standing close enough for us to hear. She fumbled around her bag looking for her phone, holding an ugly shapeless denim skirt in her arm.

"A hideous skirt for a hideous girl", Sierra snickered.

"Hey babyy I'm still at the mall, I'll be there soon and I found a beautiful skirt too.", she said into the phone.

" The only thing beautiful about that skirt is that its leaving the store with her", I remarked.

"Bye baby boo I miss you and I love you more. And don't worry I'll pick it up right now on my way out. Yeah take a nap, I'll visit you in your dreams.", she cooed.

My heart skipped a beat. That was my line. I used to say that to him every night.  This wasn't a coincidence. The shameless fuck must've said it to her too. My blood boiled at the thought.

I wasn't jealous no, I stopped being months ago. It was the fact that he acted like everything he had with me meant nothing and he could do the same shit with a new bitch.

We followed her as she went into the department store.

"Ew does she buy clothes from here too?", Lisa said in disgust.

"OH MY GOD SHE'S BUYING CONDOMS", Myra shrieked causing me to put my hand over her mouth. This was just getting better and better. I pulled out my phone and clicked a photo of her deciding between condoms for his pleasure or hers, for future use.

"Watch", I said as I swiftly walked over to the liquor section and grabbed a small bottle of expensive Scotch. She seemed engrossed in looking for the best protection so I walked past her, tactfully slipping the bottle smoothly into her huge tote bag.

"Now we wait", Lisa said with a smile. We watched as Aisha carried the condoms under a magazine and took it to a cashier.

Just as she was heading for the exit, Sierra put out her long leg from behind a clothing rack causing Aisha to trip over and fall forward, the contents of her bag spilling. The people gasped and turned around in shock as the bottle of scotch crashed into the pieces and the condoms flew across the floor.

"Sierra that wasn't needed. The security would've caught her for the "stolen' Scotch anyway", I said turning to her ,my eyes growing wide. I couldn't help laughing.

"You know she deserved it.", Sierra rolled her eyes.

"Mam have you paid for that. We'll need to see an ID", the manager walked up to Aisha.

"I didn't buy that! I don't know how its here.", she stammered in shock and embarrassment as the people around her stared in disgust. We lived in a conservative society you could say. Sex wasn't openly discussed.

"I hope you realize that is a very expensive label and you will have to pay for that. And you're not legal yet either. Please come with me.", the manager said in anger. She desperately tried to explain but no one paid any attention to her.

I almost felt bad but the situation was too funny. As we were walking out, I stopped to fix my shoes.

"Yo you dropped your car keys girl", a guy yelled out behind Aisha. Before I could bolt she turned around and we made eye contact. She gaped in shock. I couldn't run, I would look guilty.

"Shit", I muttered under my breath as I fixed my ponytail and walked away.
