Ryan's POV

Song Suggestion: Problems - Petit Biscuit

This party blew. The same people, the same drinks, same overrated, overplayed generic music. All these desperate whores throwing themselves at me. Jesus sometimes I wish I could turn my accent off. I was only here because I had nothing better to do and well, weed and booze.

The usual gang was doing shots at the bar while I stood at the railing with a drink, overlooking the city. It wasn't a pretty view but it worked for me. I liked heights, the view helped calm my nerves.

I was just heading over to refill my drink when she walked in. I resumed my previous position. She was wearing the black dress. I was right, it showed off her curves perfectly. Her dark hair cascaded down to her bare shoulders in waves. It almost looked black if you didn't look properly. You could tell it was brown when the sunlight hit her hair.

Mark handed her a bottle of booze. I laughed to myself as she left it on a table and hurried away. I assumed she didn't drink. I pulled my lip ring between my teeth and turned away. Why was I acting like a desperate motherfucker over my younger sister's best friend.

She didn't seem like the kind of girl who'd just hook up with random guys. She wasn't the kind of girl I usually hook up with either.

I turned back around and found myself scanning the room for her. She stood across from me, looking like a lost puppy. I spotted Alina drooling over Sam at the bar as he made her a drink. I shook my head and turned my attention back to Aria. I might have asked around to get her name.

I decided to head over and talk to her. It wouldn't hurt and she looked like she was about to cry. I didn't give a fuck about people generally but something made me walk over to her.

"Aria", I said out aloud. As she turned around to look at me, I felt something I hadn't in a long fucking time. Nervousness. I brushed it off. The dress made her look exceptionally good.

"Hey.. umm", she stammered. I was used to girls stuttering around me.

"Ryan", I said with a small smile. I liked that my presence made her nervous.

"Ryan", she repeated. My jaw clenched involuntarily as she looked up at me. I knew what drew me to her. Innocence. It was radiating off of her. My mouth felt dry, I licked my lips.

"Come with me", I said. I knew it was a bad idea but I was all about those , wasn't I ?
