You were crawling through the ceilings of WICKED, after a boy named Aris helped you into the vents. It seemed like forever, your forearms scraped up from the metal and screws. That's when you heard it, the quiet shuffling from one of the grates, and a few voices arguing below.
"I'm going out there, okay? I'm going to find Y/N." Newts voice rang out, his accent clear among the other boys.
"Newt, you can't do that. We're locked in." You think it's Minho's voice.
"I'm going out." You heard in Newts voice again. You crawled forward enough to peer down through the vent, Thomas's brown hair was the only thing in sight, peeking through the grate. You twisted the screws, setting them on the opposite side of you in the vent. When the last one was free, the grate swung to the ground with a loud clang. The boys below all jumped a few inches in the air, and a few of them screamed.
"What the shuck?" Minho whispered, walking towards the hole in the ceiling as you poked your head through.
"Hey guys. What's going on?" You smiled, your hair falling out of your ponytail and around your face.
"Y/N!" Everyone cheered. You smiled, pulling your head back up into the vent just long enough to swing your legs through the hole in the ceiling. You dropped down onto your feet, standing up in a circle of boys.
"Oh thank god you're safe." Newt said, pulling you into a hug.
"I'm fine, Newtie," you smiled, your voice muffled by his shirt.
"I know, I know...i was just worried." He said, pulling away to check your face.
"Well now that we settled that, can we talk about how you just dropped out of the ceiling like a shucking spider?" Frypan laughed. All the boys laughed, and Newt licked his lip while he smiled.
