"We need to talk about this. We lost Zach, and need a new keeper for the slicers." Gally said, leaning against the wall.
"And we will. Right now, they can work it out." Alby said dismissively.
"What about-" Gally was cut off by a loud bang as the door swung open.
"Gally, It's Y/N," Clint said, panting in the doorframe. Gally turned around quickly, looking at the boy.
"There was...an accident.....fell....medhut." He panted. Gally bolted out of the gathering hall, running across the grass until he threw open the door to the medhut.
"What the shuck happened?!" He yelled, storming into the room. Jeff jumped, looking up at Gally.
"I......Y/N was helping in the gardens. Tried to climb up a tree and fell. The knife Y/N kept in the belt...made things worse." He said sadly, looking back at your limp body. You were sprawled on the bed. You had bandages wrapped around a bleeding wound on your side, and a makeshift splint around your leg. Gally stood frozen.
"Those...those goddamn idiots let Y/N get hurt?! They're that shucking stupid?! I swear to god, I'll-"
"Gally?" You choked out. You watched as he met your gaze, as his eyes softened and the anger drained from his face.
"Yeah? I'm here, baby." He said, kneeling next to you and stroking your face.
"Stop yelling. You're just making my head hurt." You laughed quietly. Gally smiled, and sat next to the bed. He looked at your body, his eyes lingering on the bandages wrapped around your torso.
"Okay. I'll be quieter. Get some sleep." He said, kissing your forehead. And you drifted off to sleep while he ran his fingers through your hair.
