"Hey Minho, I think you should see this." Newt said, calling Minho over. He made his way through the abandoned building, broken down from the scorch. He stood next to Newt, focusing his flashlight on the same spot as Newts. His breath caught in his throat.
"Is that..." he choked out. Newt nodded slowly. Minho cleared his throat.
"It's the necklace I gave Y/N in the maze." He said, walking towards it.
"Yeah..it is." Newt said sadly. Minho ran his finger over the small necklace tied to a chain fence, with ransoms sheets of paper behind it.
"Wait hold on a second, back up." Newt said suddenly. Minho gabe him a look but stepped back anyways. Newt took a moment to shine the light on the paper behind the necklace.
"It's a map." Minho said. He ran over and moved the necklace aside, focusing on a small red x that had been hidden behind the locket.
"Do you think Y/N's telling us..." he trailed off. Grabbing the necklace off the wall and tucking it into his pocket.
"Come on, let's go." He said, running off through the building.
