"Nayeon-ah!"Jongin's all to familiar voice yelled outside my room. "I'll be there! Hold on!"I yelled back, getting up from my bed. I opened the door and saw him waiting outside with a food tray on his hands

"I can go down to eat breakfast you know"I said, sniffling a little and he nod. "But Minseok told us to deliver food to your room until you're better"He said with a smile. I chuckled and move aside to let him in. "Did you eat already?"I asked. "I did, Minseok won't let us deliver food to your room before we finished eating"He said

He set the food down on my floor and took a seat infront of me. I pick up the spoon and quietly started to eat. He cleared his throat and i look up at him. "Do you want to drink?"I asked and he shook his head. I nod and go back to my food. The silence was soon broken by his voice

"Nayeon-ah"He said and i looked at him. "I like you, can we date each other?"He asked and i widen my eyed before letting out an awkward chuckle. "I'm sorry Jongin,"I said and he looked at me quiestionably. "I only saw you as my bestfriend, nothing more and nothing less"I said softly and a smile went up to his face. The room fell silent and i continued to eat my food quietly. I quickly finish the food and he stand up, taking the empty tray from the floor. "I'll go now. Do you need anything else?"He asked and i shook my head with a smile on my face. "I'll see you around, Nayeon-ah. Get well soon"He said with a smile before walking away

"Oh, Jongin-ah!"I said and he turned around. "I believe you can find someone else"I said and he laugh before noding. "I'll try"He said before disappearing at the end of the hall. I let out a breath and walk inside my room. I took my medicine before walking towards my bed. My phone dinged and i let out a groan, grabbing it from the floor. I opened my notification and Chanyeol's name popped up on my screen

'Chanyeol: are you done eating? Don't forget to take your medicine!'

A grin went up to my lips and i type in a quick reply

'Nayeon: i just finished eating and i did. Did you eat your breakfast today?'

'Chanyeol: yes. I promise to deliver your food soon. I'll eat faster from now :)'

'Nayeon: sure i'll just wait for you to choke on your food'

I chuckled and we ended up talking about random things. Hours passed by and the medicine slowly takes over my body. And soon enough, i fell asleep while talking to Chanyeol

I slowly opened and eyes and sit up straight on my bed. I look at the clock hanging above and realized it was already noon. I stand up and grab a clean clothes before walking inside the bathroom to take a quick shower. After i was done, i walked out and sit infront of the TV while scrolling through my phone.
