Courtney looks at the blank TV, regret was taking over her mind. Eric watched her carefully, this surely wasn't healthy for her or her son. He sat down next to her, "Courtney, what's wrong?" Courtney played with her fingers, "I should've told him..."

Eric turned off the TV and gave Courtney his full attention, "Do you mean, you should've told Shayne before you left? Is that what you mean?''

Courtney nodded her head as the sullen tears fell down her face, "I'm such a horrible person Eric, I left without a word, I never told Shayne about his child I'm carrying and I'm going to give birth to my son without his real father by his side."

Eric hugged Courtney, ''We can always go back, you know, once your baby is born." Courtney quickly refused, "No, we can't! What will his wife think, she'll be furious!" Eric sighed, "She's meant to find out at one point, and if she really loves Shayne, she'll forgive him and accept his son and respect you."

Courtney swallowed, "Either way, he'll never leave her for me."
