For Ashton, calling Shayne dad or father was weird since he always called Eric daddy.

Instead, he called Shayne by his name, never once he used "father, dad, or daddy".

Even his half sister asked him why, his response was simple:

"I don't feel ready to give him that title yet, when I feel like giving him that title, I will."
