His wife observed her husband. It pained her to see Shayne neglecting her and their daughter.

It was like he didn't know they were there. But, it felt like he just didn't care.

He was always day dreaming, it made her wonder, is he dreaming about her? Was her in love with her?

Ever since Courtney Miller left, he turned into a man that she didn't recognize.

He was a selfish man, he didn't care about anything or anyone, he only cared about him.

Every time Shayne held their daughter and sang to her, every time their daughter made him laugh, it would bring her hope.

Hope that he'd come back, but those fantasies would soon vanish when he put their daughter to sleep and become the same selfish man.
