Day 60: Four From Family

This one, I'm not sure how to explain in simple words, so bear with me. What are four "rules" someone might need to know about life with your family?

Like, if for some reason you were bringing someone new into the fam and you had to quickly summarize things that aren't so expected, what are the rules.

Example:

1) Expect jokes, harsh jokes but all in good fun. If you can't make any you'd better be able to at least take them; no one is spared and grandma is the meanest.

2) Pie time is talk time, don't be fooled. If you see a delicious dessert, it's gonna be a long family talk.

3) Cat sits where he wants, when he wants. Don't fight him, it'll only make him more determined.

4) Never, ever, ever touch the thermostat; you will regret the day you were born.

The examples above are NOT mine, those are random examples to show what some might be like. Yours can be anything from an unspoken code between just the siblings to something known by extended family branches too. But as long as they're four unique codes learned from family, you're good.

So what are your four family "rules?"  (And if you want, you can explain how they came to be)
