Day 65: Judge A Book By Its Title

Often times just the name of a book paints an image in our minds and plants certain ideas about what it contains. Just from the title we sometimes figure what sort of story we're getting, and when we see the cover, that obviously helps. But today, we're doing a fun little exercise with just the titles.

So, how is this gonna work?

I'll list some (fictional) titles and you comment what sort of story and genre it makes you think of.  Your description can be long or short, just please don't do one word answers. You can list the genre, a 1-3 sentence summary of the book, and what you imagine the cover might look like.

And for anyone who comes later, feel free to comment on others' replies if you would read the books they describe. Now without further ado, here are you titles:

Oak Trees and Onions

The Free Bird of Orangewood Park

Hate, Me

The Dad Days of Summer

Two True Chews

Midnight Moons

Circus 101

Ready, Set, NO!

The Indelible Mr. Iqbal

The Roses At Her Doorstep

Graduate Graveyard

Aunty Hawwa

Chasing Pearls

(😜)

I look forward to reading what you all come up with.
