"Get up."
Draco groaned and pulled the blanket tighter around his body.
"Draco, get your ass up." Harry ordered, ripping the blanket from Draco's clutches, "you blanket hog."
Draco pouted and sat up, "what do you want?" He whined, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
It was just past midnight, and Harry has come up with a brilliant idea-- "I'm teaching you how to fight."
Draco crossed his arms, "says who?"
"Says me."
"And if I refuse?"
"You won't."
Draco raised a brow and collapsed back onto the bed, curling into a ball, "you obviously don't know who I am."
Also raising a brow, Harry picked Draco's curled form up with ease, "you forget I'm a vampire."
"It's kind of hard to forget, with you having fangs and all." Draco replied, his eyes still closed.
Harry ran his tongue against his fangs and shrugged, "either put clothes on or freeze your ass off when I bring you outside in nothing but your boxers," he threatened.
Draco groaned and opened his eyes, peering up at Harry's, "why do you want to teach me how to fight?"
"Because you're completely powerless-- you're like a fucking baby. You barely know how to aim a dagger. Honestly, part of me wishes your family taught you how to hunt vampires purely so you'd know how to fight." Harry explained, putting Draco down.
"I'm not completely powerless!" Draco defended. "I have you to protect me, don't I?"
"I'm not going to be around forever, Draco." Harry replied, pulling a pair of clothes out of the closet and tossing them at Draco.
"They day you leave is the day I die," Draco replied, "quite literally, as I'm a 'powerless baby,' as you so elegantly put it."
Harry stared at Draco for a beat, before turning away, "as you said, I most likely won't survive my attempt on killing your father. Therefore, I won't be around forever. Now get dressed." Harry ordered, making his way outside.
Draco frowned and slipped on the clothes, before following after him.
-
"I'm not going to go easy on you, just a fair warning."
"What?! Not fair! You're like... twenty times faster AND stronger than me! You're a bloody vampire!" Draco complained.
Harry shrugged, "a vampire that actually wants you dead isn't going to hesitate, Now, is it?"
Draco narrowed his eyes, "so? Can't you be atleast a little--"
He was cut off by Harry, who swiped his legs under Draco's feet, causing the blond to fall with a 'thud.'
"Lesson one; don't talk to the enemy." Harry spoke.
Draco groaned and stood, "you could atleast teach me how to fight before--"
Draco was once again tripped by Harry, "do you not learn?"
Draco frowned, "I'm questioning your teaching methods."
"Lesson two, don't question your instructor."
Draco groaned once more before standing to his feet, "alright, instructor. What's next."
Harry pulled on a pair of black gloves and slipped them on, afterwards pulling out a silver dagger, "nearly every monster to ever exist has a weakness to silver, so the first step in defeating a monster is to know how to use a silver dagger... considering you're not really allowed to carry a sword with you everywhere you go." Harry explained, fiddling with the dagger, "But, before we get to you using the dagger, I want you to try and get it from me."
"You haven't even taught me how I'm supposed to get it from you." Draco crossed his arms.
"You mean to tell me you've never been taught the basics of fighting by your father? The infamous vampire Hunter?" Harry raised a brow.
"Alright. Fine. He taught me some."
"Then use what little knowledge you have against me... starting NOW!"
As fast as lightning, Harry bolted towards Draco-- who managed to roll away from Harry just before the boy could grab him.
"I thought I was the one attacking you!" Draco yelled.
"I ordered you to get the dagger. Nothing less, nothing more." Harry replied, before running towards Draco again.
Draco grunted as he was pushed to the ground; silver dagger pointed to his neck, "gotta be quicker than that, Malfoy."
Draco rolled his eyes and pushed Harry off him, standing to his feet.
Sweat already began dropping from Draco's forehead, but he simply wiped it away, readying himself into a fighting position with a smirk.
"Alright, pretty boy. Let's dance." Draco panted.
Harry smirked as well and did the same, spinning the blade in his hands so it was pointed towards Draco.
Harry ran towards Draco, who dodged him and push against his back; causing the brunet to stumble.
Harry quickly managed to regain his posture, however, and pinned Draco to a tree, "use everything to your disposal, Draco." Harry ordered, keeping the dagger to Draco's neck.
Draco kneed Harry in the groin, who gasped and fell to his knees instantly; dropping the dagger and holding his crotch.
Draco immediately picked the dagger up and pointed it under Harry's chin, causing the vampire to look up at Draco, "naughty naughty," Harry tsked.
""use everything to your disposal, Draco.""Draco repeated, gently pushing the blade against Harry's chin.
A low hiss sounded, followed by smoke seeping from the spot the blade touched.
Harry winced away, glaring up at Draco, "that hurts."
"Oh, don't be such a baby."
Harry slowly stood to his feet, "that's enough training for a day, you asshole."
Draco laughed, "awh, already? It's because I won, isn't it. You can't stand being defeated by a human."
"Oh, please. You barely won. I pinned you down twice." Harry argued.
Draco laughed again, "alright Vampire boy, whatever you say."
